Clear Blue Ovulation Test: in-between birth controls. Did I ovulate?

Hi! currently trying to see if I ovulated on day 10 of my cycle. Typical cycle is around 25 days and I’m in between birth controls (mono-linyah and the combination pill) and have lost track of how many days it’s been since I took the last pill of mono-linyah and was planning to start the mini pill tomorrow, BUT…
It’s currently June 15th.
On the 10th, I went to the hospital with body pain and a fever (it turned out to be covid) but as protocol, they did a transvaginal ultrasound since I was having abdominal pain.
FINDINGS: It happened that I had a 16mm follicle on my right ovary.
Is this because I haven’t taken my birth control?

Yesterday, on the 14th, I picked up this ovulation test out of curiosity and it instantly came back mid-day with a static smiley which says it was peak fertility.

I woke up today, the 15th, with my typical breast pain that lasts around 13 days before I get my period, which I understand to be my luteal phase.

Did I ovulate or was this just a fluke?

My partner and I were intimate the 10th, 13th, and 14th.

Thanks!!! :)

If you weren’t taking your pill and had a follicle then yes, it’s entirely possible that you ovulated, but probably not on the 10th, more than likely 2-3 days later. Only temping or another scan would have confirmed.

If you didn’t want to be pregnant and weren’t using an alternative form of contraceptive then I suggest you speak to a pharmacist about the morning after pill this morning, you’re still in the 72hr window.
