@BlueAjah it's sucks 😞 I had everything crossed for you, but like you say it maybe be still too early to pick up anything yet. I might do a test tomorrow and see but I expect that to be negative again af is due around Tuesday.

I won't test until I'm well past missed period I don't think, but I started spotting two days ago so almost certainly already out for this cycle anyway 😔 due AF tomorrow I think. But would love to be proved wrong.

How are you guys feeling? Any different symptoms?

Hi all, so I did the test yesterday morning and it was negative, however I have since found out that pregnancy tests don't really work for pcos until you are well passed the missed period and the early response ones aren't recommended at all 🤦🏻‍♀️ wish I'd known, as I would have saved a few quid! 😂

Had crazy lower back pain on Saturday and thought that was me coming on but nothing. My tracking app says I was due on anytime from Saturday but should definitely happen by Thursday, so at the moment I have no idea 🤷🏻‍♀️ depending on what happens this week I will probably have to go to the dr to get a confirmation.

I keep saying to myself AF either needs to hurry the fk up or fk off for 9 months and give me this! 😂😂

I did another test today and it's negative. Yesterday all day boobs were sore, and last night and this morning had lots of cramps. I'm due on tomorrow so fully expecting it now, I don't normally get any symptoms for AF.
I'm off to a theme park on Wednesday so fantastic timing for AF to arrive 🙈

@Notawalker I know what you mean, I'm terrified I've left it too late and have missed my chance. I've been unwell for the last couple of years and now that I'm in a place where I could, I'm worried I can't.

I feel in limbo atm, a part of me is hopeful that no AF is a good sign, but another part is worried that I'm anting it so much and thinking about it so much that it's my body playing tricks on me.

I'm 37, and am scared this is it, especially with the pcos.

Will you try again next month or would you get help from your dr?

@BlueAjah I'm glad your in a better place now health wise, I was 37 when I had #1 I'm now 41 if I was to catch on again I'd be 42 when baby would be born. My partner and I held off for a while as he was ill and it would have been so much harder if we had a child.

It's such a rubbish feeling isn't it? I keep saying despite how tough it would have been we should have just done it, but you never know what life throws at you.

I think we will keep trying another month or two but I don't know how much longer I want to keep trying as I know how much it takes now never mind in a few years I would love another one.

I have every hope that you will be able and hopefully soon.

Can you normally tell when AF is due?

@Notawalker that feeling of lost time is awful isn't it! I know, rationally, I could never have had a healthy pregnancy whilst being unwell, but feeling like I've 'wasted' that time is horrible.

I lost quite a lot of weight being unwell which has really helped my cycles, I've been between 28-32 days for about the last 18 months, I normally get a lot of backache and belly cramps before coming on, but still nothing.

I'm glad your partners doing better now, I'll have everything crossed for you

AF also arrived for me the other day, just around the same time I was starting to feel optimistic. It's made me pretty low and quite panicky, but really trying not to overreact. The hormone swoops don't help though do they.

@ano24 I don't think so, gonna start testing in a couple of days to watch my levels. I think alot of it is my age and I was back on the pill from having #1 to end of December so might be just taking a while to get out of my system.

How about you you gonna try anything different?

Hi both, sorry I haven't replied for a few days, I was super gutted when I came on and quite upset for a couple of days, I think the fear got me a little. I felt like it was all looking really good but hey ho. Ended up having the weirdest period I've ever had - one night of bleeding, but nowhere near my normal for a first day and then nothing except small bits when I wiped for Thursday and Friday. I did do another test just in case, but still negative. Probably stress and overthinking the TTC.

I'm seeing my donor on Monday and 🤞🏻 fingers crossed should ovulate anytime from Tuesday. I also bought a snazzy thermometer so I can track BBT

@BlueAjah it's gutting :( how you feeling now? We put so much pressure on ourselves don't we? I try not to get my hopes up but it's so hard not to.
That's strange about your period, was you on any contraceptive before? Wonder if it would play into it. I'm saying that cos I've noticed since stopped taking mine around day 3 of period mine stop for 12-24 hrs then restarts it's only happened this time round.

Hopefully tracking bbt will help. @ano24 do you track bbt?

I've never been on any hormonal contraception as I was told it could interact negatively with the pcos. So weird

I'm ok now, I had a couple of days to wallow and eat a fair amount of chocolate 😂 ready to go again. The pressure is crazy isn't it?! I think there's still that underlying thing of this is something all women are supposed to be able to do etc, I think that and the fear about my age etc fried my brain a bit.

Do you both know when you're due to ovulate?

Hey guys @BlueAjah @Notawalker sorry I've been awol I've been sooooo annoyed with myself, I introduced some new supplements about a week ago and they've totally thrown my cycle. Think I'll be lucky to ovulate at all at this rate, zero signs of it happening. And I'd lined things up for us this weekend thinking I was being clever and would all fall into place.

A real lesson in not letting myself overthink! Trying too hard has definitely done me no favours. And I'm only cycle 3. Regret! Going to (sadly) have to prob write this one off and go back to basics for next cycle and just give it time.

I've been testing and down to my last test but my levels have been a bit all over, I'm due to ovulate on Thursday but all my readings so far have been low and seem to be getting lower apart from one that was on the 3rd, so god knows what is happening 🤷🏻. Don't feel very successful so far this month.

@BlueAjah hopefully everything went ok with your donor yesterday.

Everything went well yesterday, due to ovulate anytime from today. I bought some opk's even though they don't really work for pcos, but hopefully between that and the temping I might get a rough idea. Not really sure what to think this month considering the weird period, but always worth a go

What supplements did you go for @ano24? Will you keep testing @Notawalker?

I've ordered some more which should come today, I used my last one this morning and its the lowest it's been - 0.07 :( no hope this month.

@BlueAjah @Notawalker I started taking ubiquinol as so widely recommended for egg quality but it obviously did something. Lots of threads about it doing same for others too, which I'd obvs never seen beforehand annoyingly!

I stopped taking it and then pretty much immediately started to get LH surge so think I prob did ovulate just later, think yesterday. So not all hope lost 🤞 but been a bit of a weird one.

Sorry it's also been tricky for you @Notawalker my low ones when I knew I should be surging were getting me so upset. Did it happen eventually for you? Sometimes it's just a bit late!
