Hi I wonder if I could get some advice please

I had positive tests 10,11,12,13 DPO on First response very clear. Digi 1-2 weeks.

15,16 DPO the tests are stark white. I am obviously going on to have a chemical. I just want to move on I am utterly heartbroken and just waiting to bleed is killing me. When should I expect to start my period? My bf says to go to the GP but they can’t do anything.

my heart hurts and people say well shows you can catch does not help.

thank you

Hi lovely, I'm so sorry you're going through this.

I tested positive for about 14 days before my tests went negative and my bleeding started about 24 hours after the first negative test.

My experience of it was my tummy contracting a bit and then a light period-type bleed. I wasn't expecting the kinds of pains I had - it happened in the middle of the night and I managed it with a hot water bottle and paracetamol. It was a bit worse than a regular period, but nothing I needed help with. I don't want to scare you, I just remember having read all over Google that it would be like regular period pains and for me it wasn't. For plenty of people, it is though, it might be because I was about 6 weeks along.

I am very sorry that you are about to go through a CP! It is truly really awful! As a person who just had a CP last month, I was looking for any CP related threads and searching for what was going to happen next on google like a mad person! It was my first CP so I didn't know anything about it.
There are a few important points from my post CP cycle experience

  1. Your LH levels might fluctuate a lot
  2. You might ovulate late
  3. Your body is still recovering so please take it easy and don't feel deflated if you don't get pregnant this cycle
  4. I bled heavily for 3 days and spotted for 4 days (Heavy period)
  5. It is very useful to share your CP experience with other people because they will tell you about the practical things and their personal experience after MCs. In other words, you will learn a lot from them
  6. Be positive!! You might have a hard time waiting for your ovulation date however your body is slowly recovering and it needs time.

I started a few threads here asking for advice/ successful stories etc. It has helped me to understand my body a lot.

Now I am on CD2 of the second cycle after CP (I did count the cycle after CP as the first cycle). I do feel like this cycle is going to be a good one.
