Brown blood when breastfeeding. Am I pregnant?

Hey girls ,

I'm exclusively breastfeeding my second baby , he's 9 month old.

I still haven't had a period.

Today I've had some brown spotting like old blood.

When I'm googling it a lot of people are saying this was the first indicator that they were pregnant when breastfeeding. Can old blood like this be the start of a period?

Husband and I don't use any other contraception besides the pullout method. He's admitted that he may have came a little before properly orgasming. So 🤔 is there a chance?

Has any one any experiences with this?

Should I get a test? 🥴

Obviously you should get a test. You're having sex and not using contraception.

It could be that or it could be your period returning!
My first period was very weird when I was BF.
I'd be more inclined to think the latter but the only way you'll know is to take a test!

When i was TTC I had a supply of pregnancy tests to hand, might be an idea

Are you actually EBF a nine month old? As in, haven't started weaning yet? Or still breastfeeding alongside other foods? If you've dropped any breastfeeds at all you might have ovulated.

I'd do a test if I were you as you aren't using contraception.

Ok girls so had more of a bleed but had a weird feeling so I got a test. I had bleeds all through first trimester with my son.

This was after 9/10 mins.

im 15 m pp and still haven’t had a period and today I experienced some brown discharge only in the morning and nothing since so don’t know what to think of it
