Help - OPKs. Did I miss a surge?

Hello ladies!

I had a chemical last month (had my OPK peak on CD20 but CB gave me a static CD17). I used FMU for my OPK strip and it gave me a positive, plus 2 more throughout the day which were still high - last one being at 2.30pm (but was negative the next day)

This month CB gave me smiley on CD13 but my OPKs have been a bit… questionable.

I have been doing about 5 tests a day these last few days (currently on CD25 with 30-32 day cycles) to try and figure out when my LH surges. Albeit, I haven’t been great at it.

im worried this month I’m not ovulating or I have missed my peak - CD19 - 20 are my highest readings and I wonder if I peaked overnight or some point on CD20?

I have also noticed my new batch of OPKs has a test line darker than my older set. I even did a test one day with same urine (second pic). They are both negative but still!

The chemical may have messed up your cycle. But if I were to estimate, I reckon you peaked at lunchtime on CD20. Short surge at that.

On the OPKs - don't use FMU. Use second MU after a few hour hold. It's said that the OPKs are at their most reliable between 10am-8pm. I usually do one at 11am and another at 5pm during my fertile window.

yes, I’m not sure how long my surge was before as I did a test at 7ish and my last test was 3pm 😬 but in agreement about not using FMU! I wake up super early so will have my FMU and then wait until I need a wee again (without drinking) to do a test!

Hopefully this is my last month of OPKs 🫡 but if it’s not, I’ll do them as they’re meant to next cycle!
