BFP yesterday, pink spotting today

Yesterday I got a BFP on my clear blue digital fertility monitor. I think that I was 12dpo yesterday 13dpo today.

Today I've got another BFP (attached pic) but there's pink blood when I wipe.

I'm on cyclogest pessaries as my luteal phase was short not sure if that's relevant as usually they're supposed to stop spotting and bleeding.

Can implantation bleeding happen after a BFP? I thought it was before? Not sure whether or not to brace myself for the worst.

When I was at EPU I heard them tell lots of ladies over the phone that any spotting or bleeding before 7 weeks is likely implantation bleeding. They said it's very normal and probably just the fertilised egg settling in.

Ok thank you so much for replying that's reassuring. I've had three losses albeit six years ago so the anxiety very quickly comes back when I see blood.

I guess all I can do now is wait until I can get an early scan if I can get that far?

I'm sorry for your losses, I completely understand. I've had two myself this year.

Unfortunately, there is nothing they can do really before a certain period of time has passed so even if they scan early they won't be able to stop a loss. This is what they told me at EPU anyway.

However, spotting and some bleeding is, as they said, completely normal. They said to watch for bright red, heavier bleeding and/or pain and to call them if that happened so they could advise. It's a horrible waiting game, but doesn't sound too much to panic about if it's just some pink spotting. I've everything crossed for you.

I had IVF and two days after my BFP (at around testing time, I tested early so probably work out at 12-14dpo) I had spotting and it was really pink. Really panicked me and last a day but only when wiping, little in my underwear. It turned brown also.

The result of that BFP is now 2 and a half years old and sat on the sofa eating everything in site in the house.

So positive story here! As long as it's not bright red/heavy it could be implantation bleeding.

Thank you both you've made me feel a lot better. I'm going to try and keep busy until I'm in a position (hopefully) to have an early scan.
