Anyone else CD1?

I'm CD1 today. AF came this morning. This is our 3rd cycle TTC #2.

Anyone else want to join me?

I came on here to see if anyone had posted one of these! I am CD1 today of our first proper TTC cycle for baby number 2. I came off the pill in April so I’ve had one cycle already. We tried to be relatively careful but I did end up really hoping we’d ’accidentally’ got pregnant even though we weren’t technically TTC haha. (The reason I wanted to wait until now is because we’ve got a few exciting things in June and I know from my last pregnancy that I wouldn’t want to be in the midst of my first trimester for them. Very early on is fine, but not week 6/7 onwards 🤢.) Anyway, sorry for the life story! How old is your first? 😊

@imy woohoo! Fingers crossed for you. I say it's our third cycle but we haven't really been trying as of yet. I didn't even know when I ovulated this month! But properly going to track this time.

My kid is only just 1. We are starting early in case it takes us some time! What about you? How old is yours?

@gormlessgoldilocks Ah exciting! I think tracking does make a big difference so fingers crossed for this time :)

My daughter has just turned 1 too, in April. We've always wanted them close in age for lots of different reasons and it definitely feels like the right time for us now. I got pregnant first cycle last time so I am hoping it'll be quick this time but obviously I know that second time round can be very different!

How weird that we’re so similar! Why do you think it’ll be more difficult this time?

I'm CD1 of TTC #1 this will be my 6th cycle and it's beginning to get me down!! Hoping this cycle will be the one 🤞🏻 trying my best to stay positive!

Welcome @LateNightTalk ! Every cycle feels like such a long time and so I can imagine that 6 months feels like absolutely ages. What approach do you take, do you do LH tests?

I had my coil removed in December and started using ovulation test strips last 3 months although only truly found my peak this month which is why I was probably more upset this morning!
Have tried to temp but it's hard as I work shifts and my body clock isn't the most normal!

I find body temp checking so tough too! I either forget or I just don't have time between work and my 1yo!

This is going to be my first month of proper OPK checking. This whole process can be so stressful but hopefully we can be here to support each other!

I found OPK testing successful after trying to find my peak for a couple of months.. I found keep testing 2/3 times daily around mid cycle and boom got it! Went down a few hours later so was lucky to catch it.. but as you can see not enough BD in my window.. 🤦🏻‍♀️
But stage 1- find my peak complete!

@LateNightTalk it's such a big process. When I conceived my daughter I didn't even find my peak but I did dtd every day during the ball park.

I'm still finding my cycle at the moment but I think I'm gonna have to do the same or at least every other day from cd10 - hubby is gonna be so excited!

Well done on finding your peak @LateNightTalk ! That’s half the battle haha. When trying for my first I used LH strips and then had a lot of sex as they were getting darker and a couple of days after too. It was a heat wave at the time and so it wasn’t the most enjoyable sex haha but you’ve got to do it! I plan to do the same this time so fingers crossed.

Can I join? I'm CD3. AF arrived on Friday. We're trying for baby #1. We've been trying since December and had a miscarriage in February. Really hoping this new cycle brings us all some luck 🤞🏼❤️

@Bb542 yes I am personally a big fan of OPKs. I got pregnant the first cycle trying with my first (I am now TTC my second) and I wouldn’t have been able to pinpoint ovulation without them. I’ll probably start testing around cycle day 7 once a day and then do twice a day when the line starts to get darker. How about you?

Can I join too? I'm CD 3 today, trying for baby #2 (DD is 2.5 yo) after a MMC and surgical management in March.

First TTC was super easy, got pregnant on the first cycle and had a straightforward pregnancy and delivery. I went into TTC #2 quite naïve expecting something similar... I got pregnant on the 2nd cycle (not too bad at 38) but then had a MMC so back to square one and 4 months lost 😢 This new cycle is the second since the MMC and I'm a nervous wreck... I could use the company/support!

Of course you can @MisssMarion I'm so sorry for what you've been through. I'm praying this is the cycle for you

How is everyone doing?

I've just finished my period so wondering when to start using OPKs! As it's my first cycle trying I'm really excited at the moment and keen to get going. I did think I'd start testing with OPKs CD7.

And how are you?

I'm on CD12 now and started OPKs. Flo tells me the window has opened but won't ovulate until Sunday.

Today I wiped on the toilet and there was some blood, spotting? We DTD last night so could be that? But I don't like this randomness

I was gonna temp check but can't because my boddler isn't sleeping so I don't get 3 hours consistently 😬

I hope everyone else's cycle is going a little better 😅

CD13 today and had my peak yesterday. I'll probably be testing around 10 June when I'll be on holiday in Greece... I'm going to be a nervous wreck 😰

So exciting @MisssMarion !! Keeping everything crossed. Will be a lovely place to find out you're pregnant and even if it isn't the new you want, hopefully a good distraction. I am CD12 and haven't had my peak yet. Honestly I'd rather it come a bit later because of things we've got planned. I'm also going away next week until the 13th so will be nice to have some distraction for my TWW!!

I think I will ovulate this weekend too! Weird about the spotting, I guess it must be something to do with the sex? It's so hard when you're TTC and so aware of everything! Sorry your baby isn't sleeping. It's so so tough when they don't sleep. We ended up getting a sleep consultant because we were struggling to cope with my daughter's wakes.
