Could this be the reason we're not pregnant yet?

I'm not sure how to write this down without sounding too porn-ish, but I really have no one to ask this and I'm feeling super insecure about this. I've seen other intimate questions on this board so I hope you guys don't mind.

Me and my husband are currently TTC'ing for over 7 months now.

I've had two other partners before him, and when they had an orgasm, their ejaculate sprayed out (sorry for the TMI) with great force.

With my husband it just drips out, and it's a lot less. I wonder if that could be the reason why it is taking so long to get pregnant? Our doc doesn't want to do additional testing unless we've been trying for over a year.

@WarmBird Quick google search
“In some cases, weak ejaculation can reduce fertility or may indicate an underlying health condition.”
How much less are we talking, like is it only a couple of drops? They say it only takes one but there’s a long and hard journey for the swimmers and if he has significantly less semen in each ejaculation that might be a problem.

If the case is what you think it is, he needs to take a break for a day or two then try.

However, go private - get both of you tested to see if you can concieve.

My husband's just drips out too and we got pregnant the first month trying. There is a fair bit though.

It could be a factor but sperm count is the most important thing.
After sex try keeping still and lying on your back with a pillow under your hips, to let gravity help a bit!

If nothing happens after 6 months of trying might be worth getting checked out

You could try those fertilily cups which help the sperm along a bit.

Also, getting a basic sperm analysis done privately isn’t too expensive and might be worthwhile at least you’ll know if that’s an issue for you guys.
