I have had gyno issues since I was 19. Began with pelvic inflammatory disease where I ended up in hospital. Got told I’d have trouble conceiving due to lesions and scarring from it. However this was not the case, turns out I’m incredibly fertile.
i had two children with my ex. Contraception wasn’t too bad as we were able to do the deed without the worry however my new partner , over the 5 years I have been pregnant 3 times and we have one of those pregnancies to full term and have a son together .
now, I have tried allll the contraception. I have had both the merina and the copper coil. One out of the two was fantastic for about a year however with most contraception my body just can’t cope with the hormones, I become quite Ill from it in the long run and end up having continuous bleeding after a few months-1 year trying. I’ve even had two failed from morning after pills!
i can not cope with having anything more done to my body, I’m too young for a hysterectomy and I can’t face the idea of getting my tubes tied due to already having problems with pain monthly due to scarring from pid and other things. This option will only make it worse. My partner could get the snip but this never seems to be an option 🙄.
I have asked again and again and again to try the patches but the drs will never prescribe these to me and I don’t know why but I’m frustrated because it’s my last option.
I could just not have sex but I really like it! So we use condoms but it’s boring. It’s so boring. I don’t want to just make simple love I want hot steamy sex and you just can’t do that with condoms. They don’t feel the same, they kill the mood and most the time if you dare turn up the notch they break everytime!
has any one else had these issues? Has anyone else been refused patches. Has anyone tried them and compare them to the pills affects?
Im so tired of it all!
how do I persist and win the argument that the patch is worth trying (I think it’s down to cost but it’s bs because I’m early 30s and miserable!)
