Trying for number 2?

Starting to actively try for number 2 after this cycle ends, anybody else starting to try for a second? Came off the pill in December & in the last week decided to go for it, but I’m nearing the end of the cycle so will be out this month for sure.

It took us almost a year to fall on with our first DD who is now 21 months so not expecting it to happen quickly but 🤞

I met a lovely couple of ladies while trying for my first on here who I am still friends with and speak to now 🥰 so would be lovely to have someone to go on the journey with again!

Trying for our second too. And this is our first month ttc
Previous multiple mc and other things going on in the background like thyroid issues.
I tried a few years back and nothing after 9 months so accepted it wouldn't happen.

Now I'm mentally strong enough to try again.

My son is 12 years old so I'm worried that people will talk about the age gap but ahh well.

@beezoh i also had mmc, we weren’t trying & didn’t know until that happened. It kicked us into gear a bit and made us realise we were ready for number 2. Sorry to hear about your losses 🖤 I hope your luckier this time around 🤞

We’ve been trying for a 2nd for 3 years. We had a MC last May 💔 Our daughter is 4.

My BBT chart looks very hopeful this cycle but it’s hard not to get my hopes up!

Trying for number 2 too, well from the next cycle. I have just stopped the mini pill a few days ago so I’m waiting for the first period, however long that will take. My DS is 13 months old, we were going to wait until September but it took 8 months and a mmc the first time so thought what is the harm in starting now anyway. I had a csection and preeclampsia with my first, so I’m slightly anxious but hopefully it will go well this time.

I should have added, if we can conceive. Obviously no one knows how long or even if it will happen.

We are just about to start trying for number 2 too.
Stopped my pill a couple of days ago and just waiting for my period too.

DD is 5, always thought we were done but decided at Christmas we would like another.

We've been trying on and off for a few years but I've only just realised that my thyroid levels are what might be coming in the way.
I'm still so excited though, just hope it doesn't take over my life ttc like it has done in the past! x

I thought I had given up a few years ago, but here I am again - first cycle trying. Currently CD5.

@Peanutbutterjelly123 I'm on 7/8dpo but started spotting today, AF due any day so pretty sure I'm out this month sadly. I'm 20ish lbs heavier than I was when I conceived my first so slightly worried my weight will be an issue this time around.

I feel a lot more nervous this time than when we were trying for DD, probably a mixture of being older & already having had a hard going labour! x

Yes, I am too! My little one is 22 months so very similar. I had my mirena coil removed a few weeks ago and had a very short period so not sure what’s going on! I’m attempting BBT tracking but I keep forgetting 🙈

I have PCOS but only took 10 months to become pregnant with my daughter. It’s been extremely difficult emotionally this time round but we’re determined.

@JJHN22 I also have PCOS and I’m pretty sure I have endo too. Took almost a year with first so expecting a long slog again for number 2

PCOS is hard isn’t it?! Sorry that you think you might have endo too. Wishing you all the luck this time round! You never know 🤍

I’m on around 12dpo currently and my bbt chart looks so positive. Really trying not to get my hopes up!

@JJHN22 have you tested yet? I don’t think I could have held out this long 😂 I’ve got my fingers crossed for you!!

Im just waiting for AF now then we can start properly, but my cycles aren’t always regular so could be while yet if we’re having a long month!

Thank you! I caved yesterday and had a bfn but I expected it really! 🫣 I didn’t test positive around until 20dpo with my daughter and around 18dpo with the miscarried pregnancy. We go on holiday tomorrow so having to take tests with me.

Wishing you all the luck once AF has been. Irregular cycles make things so difficult, I’m sorry! What’s your cycle range? Mine’s between 40-58 days recently 😣

@JJHN22 it can be anywhere from 28 days to 60 days but luckily since coming off the pill they’ve all been around 28 - 35 days apart from one which was a bit longer x

Hi everyone. We are ttc number 2, in cycle 2 now. We have a little girl who will be 3 in August and would love another. I'm turning 37 this year.

We are trying for number 2! Baby number 1 is 11 months old. We’ve been trying for 4 months and no luck yet :( the first baby took us 4 months to conceive after a miscarriage. Really hoping we conceive soon. It’s such a horrible feeling getting that BFN or period arriving

We’re trying for no2 as well! DD is 6 and I’m now 32. Been told I have polycystic ovaries and partner works away so hard to always get the right time. This month has been weird though as BBT hasn’t risen as much as usual (I only ever get 1 OPK surge) and 2 apps given different O day.

could anyone please help and tell me when they think I ovulated, if I have yet?

TTC number 2. Had a MMC in February when I should've been 12 weeks so really hoping this is the month I get a BFP. I'm 1DPO.

@T0r11210 sorry I’ve never temped so no use on that one! It sure if you read pp but I also have PCOS which sucks! I work shifts so sometimes we miss ovulation if we are working opposite hours .. it’s hard isn’t it knowing you have to wait a whole month for there to be chance again.

@weddingdressnightmare hey 👋 gotta say I love the name 😂 the bfn are the worst 😩 I was terrible for testing with our first and it took such a toll on me so I’m going to be really conscious of not testing early this time around to hopefully make it less mentally draining.
but going for 2 under 2, brave move 😂 be lovely them so close in age though!

@Cabbie16 Our little girl is 2 this August, she was born on the 1st so only just an August baby! Hoping to avoid heavy pregnancy in summer this time around, it wasn’t pleasant last time 🥵

CD9. Estimated ovulation Friday according to app but I'm using OPKs for the first time to see what they say. We conceived first cycle with our first (very lucky) so haven't done that before.

@jellyfish2 so sorry to hear about your mc, hopefully this is a lucky month for you!

@Cabbie16 when we did OPK’s last time I found after doing them for about 3 months my app got accurate. you were very lucky with your first, hopefully this time it’s not so long either x
