6dpo spotting - unusual for me

Hi everyone, I’d like to know your experiences with spotting / implantation bleeding. I have never experienced spotting in a cycle before except maybe just before AF arrives. I ovulated on Thursday 2nd and had what I think may be IB on Wednesday 8th which would make me 6dpo. It was a really small amount and hasn’t happened again. I have done a number of cheap pregnancy tests as they’re the only ones I have and all negative but I am still only 8dpo. Would just like to hear others experiences. Thank you x

@Boo1192 my experience is a little different but I’ll share anyway!

I’m a chronic luteal spotter - I always spot from about 7dpo until my period arrives around 14dpo. Last month I got pregnant and sadly it ended in a missed miscarriage (not related to the spotting though).

Anyway, in that cycle I got pregnant I had spotting from 2dpo which was earlier than usual. At 9/10dpo I had some much heavier bleeding which looking back I swear was implantation bleeding. I’m not sure what else it can have been! It was so heavy that I’d counted myself out as being pregnant, but it didn’t last long and was only when I wiped weirdly.

So what you’re having could totally be implantation bleeding :) Definitely hold out a bit longer to test if you can and try again. I didn’t test til 14dpo in the cycle I got pregnant and it was a fairly strong line at that point 💜
