Very faint line at 15 DPO

I got a very very faint line (attached) with fmu this morning at 15 DPO on a FRER but “not pregnant” on Clear Blue digital weeks test. Is this a bad sign that it’s so faint and this far into my cycle? I'm pretty sure I’m 15 DPO as did ovulation tests and temping. Just for some background I had a missed miscarriage the end of October last year so have been trying for 7 months and concerned about a chemical or ectopic. Any advice please? Thanks x

I’m sorry, but that looks like one of the dreaded FrER indents, it’s too grey to be positive.

Thanks - it is actually definitely light pink in colour although doesn’t look it in this photo. I’ve attached another photo with it in comparison to one that does just have the usual indent if that helps. Should also mention my temp is still up, my heart rate is around 10bmp higher and HRV is lower so I think there is a possible pregnancy there but more whether it’s too late to have such a faint positive x

Definitely looks like a positive to me

@MrsPositivity1 shouldn’t it be darker than this at 15 DPO? Worried about a chemical 😢😢

It does look very light for 15dpo for a FRER. I had a chemical in October and lines were similar. The only way to know is to take another test tomorrow or the day after.
I really hope it gets darker for you xxx

I'm sorry OP, unless you've got your dates wrong I don't think it's looking great 😢

xxxgxxx · 05/05/2024 06:12

Thanks @Elisabeth3468 I’m pretty sure it’s a chemical as all my stats have lowered slightly this morning so expecting bleeding in the next day or so I guess…have you managed to get pregnant? I’m a little worried now that this is 2 miscarriages - first was missed miscarriage at 8.5 weeks and now this early before 5 weeks. DH also has low motility so it’s taken 7 months to even get to this point 😢

@xxxgxxx the really good news is that you can get pregnant. So much has to go right to even get to that point. And although heartbreaking, timing wise if it's been seven months so far that means there's only been a couple of cycles where you haven't got pregnant, even with the low motility. I had a baby, then a chemical, then a baby - didn't seem to be a whole lot of logic to why some pregnancies stuck and the middle one didn't. Really hoping that next time is the time for you x

Elisabeth3468 · 05/05/2024 19:12

@xxxgxxx it's so tough this journey. It's a good sign you can concieve though even though it's a chemical. Yes I conceived recently after a year of trying. First baby was IVF and partner has very low sperm count! So we thought we'd end up needing ivf again. Xxx

@Flowersonmyorchid thank you - trying my best to be positive as had finally got in a good place after the MMC then this happens 🙈 I haven’t started bleeding yet and was due on Thursday/Friday last week…how long did it take you to start bleeding? Weirdly just want it out now xx

@Elisabeth3468 it really is…well not for everyone I guess! Wish I was one of the lucky ones as I’m sure everyone does! Ah congratulations. Hopefully we’ll get a sticky one next time 🤞🏽🤞🏽 xx

I know this is an old post but just wondering if this was a chemical pregnancy? I’m in the same boat atm 😩
