Hello Mumsnet!

Bit of a regular here, just wanted to post as I am so excited to be trying to TTC again I just want to tell someone about it. My partner and I have had two miscarriages in the past and put a break on trying to conceive our first baby.

I am 4DPO today and just feeling so hopeful I just wanted somewhere to share it ❤

@ElleBelleLou hello! 🥰 I've had two miscarriages too, so sorry to hear about yours (I also have a 2.5 year old). We took a break for a few months and this is our first month trying again and I'm also 4DPO! We can keep each other company x

We’ve been TTC since December 2022 with no luck so I’m not expecting anything anymore but trying to stay hopeful nonetheless 😅

@kalixxx best of luck this cycle! Have you been tracking ovulation/ had any tests done at the GP?

We've decided not to track this month so 4DPO is a guesstimate 😂

I'm tracking using Flo, haven't used any ovulation tests or anything but I get pretty bad ovulation cramps which helps me know what's going on! I tell myself I won't test early but I absolutely will.

Me too! I'm having some weird symptoms... Near constant mild cramps (to the point if this was in a week's time I'd be convinced AF was coming) and an increase in discharge this afternoon along with some stronger cramps.

It's far too early for anything pregnancy related so I'm really confused!

Last night I had such a strange dream where I was having a normal conversation with my mum and she said 'now you're pregnant you need to blah blah blah...' and it jolted me awake. The first time I found out I was pregnant it was following a dream I'd had a positive test. I am 5DPO today so trying to be patient through this 2WW.

Vivid dreams are definitely a sign! On a whim I decided to check my cervix...no idea what I was looking for and so have learned nothing 😂 no idea what a soft cervix is meant to feel like 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

I had a dr appointment this lunchtime (I have tonsillitis just in time for bank holiday weekend!) and when prescribing me antibiotics my doctor asked if there was any chance I could be pregnant. Normally I just say ahhh no but today I said actually there may be a chance so he prescribed me some you can take when pregnant - very optimistic for 5DPO but 😅

Glad it's not just me! For what it's worth I'd have said it was lower and harder so already counting myself out 🤦‍♀️

Oh good call though, you'd have kicked yourself if you got a positive test next week. I'm at the dentist on Wednesday and will decline any X rays for the same reason! X

how you doing @ThelastRolo20? I'm 7DPO today, had some heavy cramping feelings yesterday like period cramps but not expecting my period for a while yet obviously! x

I'm doing okay thanks lovely.😊 Cramps are here and there but trying to remain realistic! Going to try really hard not to test until Thursday 😂 fat chance really - AF type cramps at this stage could be a good sign!
