@RememberZen thank you, I had the lower back ache too Wednesday night and it was so so easy to just assume the worst was happening, genuinely some of the worst pain I've ever experienced 😫 ah I'm so glad you've started feeling symptoms again, as absolutely awful as the nausea is, I completely understand the relief! Hopefully the next few days go by super quick for your scan. You'll be almost 8 weeks, right?

@Ella31 @Beanie14 thank you ladies, slowly but surely getting there. Starting to feel a bit more at ease, finally went to EPU yesterday afternoon. Thankfully my body isn't showing signs of a miscarriage but also I just seem to be one of the ones unfortunate enough that I'll have the unexplained bleeds again 🙃 but because it's been drawn out over 4 days and accompanied by bleeding, I need to go back for a scan on Tuesday. They really do mean it when they say pregnancy is one of the most stressful things you can go through 🙃

I hope everyone is doing well 💖

2BabyOrNot2Baby · 13/07/2024 19:41

@narwhalsarereal I also got pregnant the month I'd only DTD twice, but I ovulated earlier than I normally would so thought I was out completely. I wouldn't think you had ovulated so soon after finishing AF, but could it possibly just be that your hormones and such are fluctuating and your peak is still yet to come? I'd keep testing daily and dtd if you can. @RememberZen is right, it really is when you're least expecting it!

Hopefully this month is a lucky one for you 🤞🏻

Beanie14 · 14/07/2024 09:21

Feeling deflated this morning. Been testing BBT this month, I’ll upload my chart. After an initial really good rise my temp dropped this morning and AF due in a couple of days so I guess I’m out. Thinking this could be Secondary infertility?

RememberZen · 14/07/2024 11:50

narwhalsarereal · 13/07/2024 18:25

Not that I know of @RememberZen

I started to think the same thing when I didn't get opk peaks, but apparently I was still ovulating! I would just keep testing daily, it's probably just a delayed month for you, it's still quite early after your last period finished I'd say, keep going with it!

I'm glad you're feeling a little more at ease, it's certainly not easy, I hate this stage, a horrible limbo not knowing how to feel or what's going on in there. I hope your scan goes okay on Tuesday, I've got everything crossed for you, I'm sure it will be all good!
The backache can be awful, I didn't know it could happen so early on, I never experienced it with my last, so maybe it's a positive thing, means everything is stretching and growing right in there maybe. Thank you, it has been the longest three weeks, I've got one more week to go, yes I'll be 8+1 at the scan, I really can't wait to find out if everything is okay or not. Take care!

Beanie14 · 14/07/2024 12:21

My BBT chart. A dip so close to AF surely means I’m out right?

Not always, it could just be a blip. It may come back up tomorrow.
AF due Tuesday/Wednesday for me. Here’s my chart

Yes, I agree with @Ncl31 BBt can be very unpredictable in my opinion! my BBt fluctuated daily when I was testing, dropped down really low, twice and it turned out I was pregnant a week later! Good luck to you this cycle 🙏

Yeah I think it definitely can be a positive thing! I've asked multiple times about it and everytime they've told me that because everything needs to stretch to accommodate a growing baby, unfortunately it will just really hurt sometimes 😫 but I'd take it as a positive from now on!
I'm keeping absolutely everything crossed for you! How you feeling?
Everything went well thank you, now measuring a day ahead and baby was extremely wriggly but all good 😊 x

Oh that's so good to hear! Really excited for you, how far are you now? Sounds like great progression, aww right little grower, no wonder you're having aches.
Thank you, yeah I have had bad nausea and backache up until last night, now today I feel fine again, so worrying again a bit to be honest. Did your symptoms still continue to come and go? Monday couldn't come any sooner! x

Thank you! 😊 11+5 now so getting closer to finally finding out an EDD! Though it does feel like it's taken years to get here 😫

Yes! So they were pretty much gone from Monday evening last week (besides the cramping and backache) all the way up until Sunday afternoon and when it came back, I really, really felt it and now I've been extremely nauseous again ever since. I asked about that actually and they said it can be totally normal as your hormone levels are fluctuating constantly, and also there's women that just won't have any symptoms at any point, so for them to come and go is completely normal. Just think of it as your body giving you a break 🙂
It sounds horrible but I think the first trimester is the worst, feeling like you're in limbo, questioning absolutely everything and it's so hard to put your mind at ease but so easy to overthink everything isn't it?

Hopefully the next few days fly by. Be sure to take it easy and rest up when you can, though I know it's much easier said than done. If you haven't already, it may be worth trying the anti-sickness bands. It could 100% placebo but they have helped me a little bit (even the slightest bit of help, I'll take!). I used the normal ones in my first pregnancy but couldn't stand when they got wet when washing my hands so currently rocking the Frida Mom bands 😆 I've also been recommended ginger a lot but unfortunately can't report back on it as I don't like it at the best of times! x

Ella31 · 17/07/2024 11:35

@Beanie14 sorry Beanie, I'm only checking in now. My af came yesterday so I'm also feeling the blues this week. How long are you trying now. This will be going into month 8 for me

Hey @Ella31 this is month 7 for me, AF due tomorrow. I tested this morning and I think I can see something on the test. But maybe it’s my eyes. I’m gonna test again tomorrow.
Im sorry AF came, it’s so disheartening isn’t it :( keeping everything crossed that this next cycle is your time xx

Oh lovely! I can imagine, getting to 8 weeks has seemed like an eternity for me haha
Thanks so much, appreciate the reassurance, yes, it's so easy to overthink and start thinking the worst. I'm really hoping any symptoms come back soon, as horrid as they are, they put me at ease.
Hopefully! Thank you, I will definitely check them out. You take it easy too! x

Fingers crossed for a BFP update tomorrow then @Beanie14

Sorry to hear of AF arrival for you @Ella31

I've still got no signs of ovulation at CD17, I'm always around CD13/14 too.
Got horrifically painful nipples last night and today but I really don't think it's anything as I've had it before.

Hopefully one day I'll be here sharing good news.

CadoAvo · 18/07/2024 10:39

@2BabyOrNot2Baby @rememberzen everything crossed for you both!!

@ella31 sorry to hear about AF 😔

I'm due to ovulate tomorrow and had high readings on OPKs last night so trying to keep hopeful.

I also have a new phone and the mumsnet talk app is awful and really not user friendly 😂

I'm so stressed, all my symptoms have completely disappeared for two days now, not even feeling fatigue anymore, fearing the worst at this point, EPU won't even return my messages, stress.

@RememberZen bar cramps for a few weeks, I had no symtoms with my boys and they were two strapping twins. So tru not to worry though I know it's hard.

Beanie14 · 18/07/2024 19:00

@RememberZen Im so
sorry this is such a stressful time for you. Try not to worry about lack of symptoms I didn’t have many in the first trimester other than extreme tiredness and occasional nausea.

Update from me, over the last 24 hours I’ve done about 5 cheapy pregnancy tests and one first response. They’ve all got a very very faint line. More prominent on the first response apart from the one I did about an hour ago, which I could barely see but maybe it was too diluted as it wasn’t a 4 hour hold. So still none the wiser but AF didn’t arrive today.
Think I’ll leave it another 2 days and test again to see if HCG levels get higher or AF arrives.
Fingers crossed

Ah I'm so sorry lovely, it really is daunting isn't it. I know it's not easy, but try not to worry or think too much into it. I didn't have anything at all for almost an entire week last week and thankfully everything was fine. My symptoms also kept coming and going with my little boy and he really did put full effort into scaring me more times than I'd like to admit and he was perfectly fine in the end. If you're still concerned tomorrow, get yourself down to your EPU. I know mine are absolutely useless when it comes to answering the phone so quite a few times already I've had to head on down there to get some kind of reassurance x

Sorry if you've already said but I have the memory of a goldfish, are you getting back to TTC this cycle or just trying to get an idea of your ovulation times and such?
You're completely right, the app is so bad! I just keep a tab with the webpage open 😆
