Thank you girls, trying to stay level headed and not panic too much as I know it's not helping. Call them first thing and call was dropped after an hour on hold 🥲 I have a physio appt I can't miss for this next hour so will get back to it once it's over x

Did you get checked out lovely?

2BabyOrNot2Baby · 29/05/2024 19:18

Did you get checked out lovely?

Unfortunately not, I've been on hold with them all day - almost 8 hours altogether 🫠 I finally got to #1 in the queue, only to stay there for an hour and a half before the call was dropped 🙃
I would've just headed there but it's not somewhere I want to take my little boy. My husband is going to take some time off tomorrow and my mum will be able to have my son so will just be going in instead. Pains have eased a little bit in some ways, but definitely still there and nothing I've experienced before in pregnancy. I know I'm probably getting myself worked up over it but I had a lot of unexplained bleeding in my last pregnancy so I can't help but worry 🫣

Hi all! Just jumping on as I'm 5dpo and driving myself a bit crazy. Anyone else at a similar stage to me? Currently trying for our first baby we get to meet after loosing our daughter at 20 weeks on Christmas due to a rare genetic condition followed by a CP in March. We've been told it's extremely unlikely we are carriers of the genetic condition and the chances of recurrence are very low. Praying that our bad luck turns and all the pain has been worth something ❤️ Good luck everyone testing in the next few days and congrats to those who have received their positives!

Hi @mountainlass I'm sorry for loss. I lost my twin sons at 29 weeks 6 months ago in November. Dara was born sleeping and Adam was taken of life support 4 days later and passed in my arms. I hope you are doing ok. They are my first babies too.

Ladies, I don't know what to do.
I've been experiencing pretty bad cramps tonight and they're actually making me feel sick. My apps are saying I'm 5 weeks + 2. I've just looked at my local EPU and they're saying they assess pregnancies from 6 weeks onwards. I actually visited them with my first at around 4-5 weeks (but thought I was further along), will they see me if I contact them or is it not worth bothering? I'm panicking a lot little 😅

Only saw this @2BabyOrNot2Baby I had horrific cramps with my twins and they were fine as you know until the twin thing at 29 weeks.

I think the fear is, if you go early, it might be too early to see anything. All I can say is I had back and stomach cramps for the first few weeks. It's most likely ligaments

I'm staying hopeful that it is that and I'm just getting in my own head 😅 admittedly one of my worst habits!
I had scans at (I believe) 4 and 5 weeks with my son and I remember seeing almost nothing. In the later one, it actually looks like he's wearing a little backpack 😆
Trying to rationalise that all pregnancies are different and just because it didn't happen last time doesn't mean it's not necessarily a bad sign x

@Ella31 my heart breaks for you, no one deserves this pain. It's so difficult having a first pregnancy experience so traumatic, I honestly don't think I'll be the same again after this hurt but I choose to stay hopeful. We are still mums and our babies will always be with us, one day I hope to be able to tell my future child about their big sister so they can remember her forever too. I know you will be the same ❤️ please look after yourself and I will keep you in my thoughts. You deserve your happy ending x

Same to you. I actually had 2 early losses brfore them but nothing compares to losing my boys. I was 5 and a half weeks away from deliverybwhich makes it harder. I hope you can find some peace too

Thank you. Couldn't get through to my GP before all appointments were gone so EPU it is 🙁 My husband has been in back to back meetings all morning so we'll be heading off as soon as he finishes in about an hour. I couldn't help but test again this morning and the line is definitely lighter, which has done nothing for my nerves so big fail on my part. Hope you're doing well today x

CadoAvo · 30/05/2024 11:28

Hi ladies, hope you're all doing well 💕

@2BabyOrNot2Baby hopefully you get an answer, the waiting in the early days is nothing short of horrendous. I'm now 7+4 and have my first scan tonight. However I started spotting on Sunday and it turned into light bleeding on Tuesday so really really really hoping it's not bad news. Last pregnancy I started bleeding at 6+6 and it was sudden and quick, this time it seems to be a lot slower. I've also started to get some nausea which I didn't have last time but I've been extremely anxious for the last week so not sure if the nausea is pregnancy or anxiety related. Either way, I should have an answer tonight. Best of luck to you 💕

I'm absolutely fine don't worry about me. You need to mind yourself. Do you mind me asking have you been in the epu before? Just be aware, they may be very clinical and to the point. Block it out. You and your husband are the most important thing right now.

Finally stay hopefull. Nothing is confirmed. I'm thinking of you and reach out if you need any advice. Xxx

6/7 dpo just eating more and tried. Normal pms

I am also 7 dpo today so we are on the same timings. I don't have any apparent symptoms either but to be honest never have in the past. When do you think you will test? Hope this is our month🤞❤️

Ahh no I'm so sorry you've been dealing with this! The early days honestly are the worst, also stuck between wanting to tell people, but not wanting to incase the worst happens! I only told my immediate family on Tuesday, same night it all started for me. I did want to wait a little longer but as I had some scares with my son, I thought it'd be better to lean on my support network a little. I hope your nausea is either morning sickness or anxiety and nothing bad! Really hoping you get good news tonight, please do keep us updated but in your own time of course. Don't hesitate to reach out to us if you need! Wishing you lots of luck, too! ❤️

Thank you for being so supportive and kind, you're honestly such an angel ❤️

We've been a few times when pregnant the first time round as I had a lot of unexplained bleeding, it wasn't until into the second trimester they told me I had a cyst which may have caused the bleeding, but couldn't 100% say it was that. I did find that it was very abrupt which was a bit scary as it was my first time and only 22/23 but will try to take it all with a pinch of salt. Luckily my husband is a lot more level headed than me and better in times of stress so at least one of us will stay grounded 😅

Again, thank you for being so supportive xx

OP posts:
CadoAvo · 30/05/2024 12:25

@2BabyOrNot2Baby thank you

@Ella31 yeah I've got a private scan booked tonight at 6pm. I waited for so long to book it as last time I booked it as soon as I found out I was pregnant and then had to cancel it and lose the £30 deposit. This time I waited until Sunday when I was 7 weeks to book it for today, and of course I started spotting later that night. I prob could've been seen at EPU this week but I had an event on last night and wanted to live in ignorance for the evening. Had a great night last night so was worth it and will find out this evening what's going on.

narwhalsarereal · 30/05/2024 14:11

I'm ok @Ella31, how are you?

Thinking of you both @CadoAvo & @2BabyOrNot2Baby - hope you both get good news today at your appointments.

I'm just awaiting af arrival tomorrow.
I've had a migraine starting earlier, may have headed it off with tablets but going to rest up a bit. I've also got conjunctivitis, just to make everything so much worse 🤦🏼‍♀️
