VERY faint positive, or am I kidding myself?!

What do you think? I can't tell if I've driven myself to insanity with all of this, or if there is actually a very faint line?! I am 9dpo, assuming I ovulated approx. 24 hours after getting a static smiley on my clear blue ovulation test this month.
I know I am silly to have tested so early, but I have sadly become a little obsessed with ttc after experiencing a mmc at 8 weeks back in January.

Yes maybe. Do a first response test in the morning

I can see it! Hold for a few hours if you can, then test again to be sure. And update us 😊

I can see a line but it looks like an evap as there's no colour to it. Your best bet is to wait until the time Af is due and test again.

No idea why posters tell OPs to do a first response test on every single thread, they aren't that great and so many people have indents with FRERs!

Thank you to everyone for responding. I can't quite believe it. Desperately trying to keep a level head, as I appreciate it may be a false alarm and it's still very early.

I know! Especially as FRERs have been withdrawn from sale specifically because of the indent issue!

@Fleur9 for context the top is my test yesterday. And the one below is this morning. Def can see a progression in a day. Fingers crossed for us! X

@Fleur9 I know how you're feeling. I had a mc in January.. just felt something this month which made me test yesterday at approx 9dpo..

@Harveybelle I'm so sorry you've experienced a miscarriage recently too. It's so hard not to symptom spot and obsess a little isn't it! Like you, I just felt a little different this month. Keeping everything crossed for us both x

Just a quick update... I did another test this morning. I can see a line again on this one, but it's still very faint. I am only 10dpo though. Really hoping the line starts to get darker over the next few days. Fingers crossed!

This photo shows it a little clearer. I do think it's slightly darker than yesterday's. We shall see. Thanks to everyone who responded yesterday x

@Fleur9 I'm in the same boat. Pretty confused. Mine this morning is similar to yesterdays on the same test but after work I did a 6 day early response and got this.. so todays on the cheapie strips are just as faint but this early one came up pink. Might grab a couple more of these for the next two days. OH is back tomorrow and I don't want to tell him and get his hopes up.. when af isn't technically due til Monday. But also can't keep it secret! 😩

@Harveybelle it's still so early for both of us. I totally get why people say to leave it until your missed af. Why am I so impatient?! 🥴
I don't know your OH, but I would tell him. That way you can support each other from the get go. I wouldn't expect to see too much of a difference in line progression at this stage, and I keep reminding myself that some people don't even get a sniff of a positive until a lot later. Although your early detection test looks very strong! It's going to be a long few days for us! Keep me posted won't you xx

I took another one just now after holding on for a few hours and it's definitely darker than the one yesterday. I think it's safe to say we're both pregnant... congratulations! Let's hope that this time it's a happy ending for us 🥰 xx

I just caved again. Third one down is just now only after a half hour hold. So lighter but to be expected. And still only 11dpo.

Going to wait and do my last two tomorrow before my OH gets home... fingers crossed for those lines still!!

@girlmom2 I can't see a line at the moment, but it may just be the photo. I had negatives at 8dpo, but got my first very very faint line at 9dpo, so there's definitely still hope 😊

Amazing!!! Huge congrats! My period is due in 7 days so I'm keen to get an early test now. Do you have any symptoms?
