Hello, wondering if anyone can help - I had a miscarriage that begun about 10 days ago (10 weeks), I have been bleeding very slightly last couple of days but mostly brown. Took a pregnancy test yesterday to confirm everything had passed and it showed completely negative. I recently ordered some ovulation tests from Amazon as want to try and conceive again, not necessarily straight away - was going to wait for my period to come back and then start to track. Obviously I’ve not had a period yet, however out of interest took an ovulation test and the test line is showing is very red, is it possible I’m actually ovulating?!

That's definitely a positive OPK not sure what pp is looking at

Often a positive shows up when pregnant so if miscarriage was just a week ago it may be that you have the hormones high in your system still

Sorry to hear about the mc :( wishing you lots of luck for whatever you decide to do going forward

Could possibly be ovulating but from my experience ovulation tests are a lot more sensitive so if there is some hcg still about they pick it up stronger even tho a pregnancy test is negative. Did you do any ovulation tests yesterday/day before etc?

@Nbaby @pinksheetss thanks both - will keep testing and see what happens to the line!

That’s 100% a positive OPK, no idea what PP is on about. I would also caution that it might still be HCG and the other test wrong if you’ve not had a scan. Or the HCG isn’t yet low enough to not trigger this test.
Really sorry to hear about your MC

You can ovulate as soon as two weeks later. It is a positive opk though for sure left line is so much darker than right. Like PP said, it can be caused by different hormones left over from pregnancy. The cause isn't definitely ovulation but possible.

It’s definitely a positive OPK! If it were HCG causing it, then you’d see some kind of line on a pregnancy test. I’d say you were ovulating and expect a period in a fortnight.
