Just checked the date on the test and it’s expired by a couple of months (was just in my bathroom cupboard)

Going to get another test today but just to prepare myself, are false positives on an expired test common?! I’m wandering around my house giddily and need to make some sense of this!

We hadn’t had sex in six months and then had a quickie on holiday 3 weeks ago 😂 I was on POP but had diarrhoea so probably didn’t absorb!

Thanks, hahah! I FaceTimed my sister in shock whilst still on the toilet 😂 meeting her for lunch today so going to pick up another test (and probably a third for tomorrow’s FMU!) and then see what we’re dealing with!

I’ve got sore boobs and feel like my period is about to start so not putting a lot of stock into it and trying not to get excited, and won’t say anything to DP until I’ve done at least one more test as I wouldn’t want to get his hopes up! Hidden the test safely in my car 🤣

Third BFP this morning and I feel sick as a dog 😂

Telling DP tonight, I’ve just been to the shop and bought a Belgian bun to hide in the oven and tell him dinner’s in there and wait for him to catch on! I’m so giddy I don’t feel like this is real 😅 I told the dog earlier because I needed to practice saying it out loud!

Awww, thank you! He’s going to laugh at the irony of me, a contraception specialist nurse, falling pregnant whilst on contraception 😅 an hour till he’s home and I am PACING!
