Negative on early detection test, period due in 5 days, am I out?

I know no one can tell me for sure but have any of you got a negative at this stage but then you were pregnant?

this might be wishful thinking!

my test was a boots own ‘5 days early’ test. I’m currently 5 days away from my period and my cycles are pretty regular.

Yes I have had this, you're not out till your period shows

I had almost 2 years of trying and 2
mcs before my first, so now we’re trying for number two it would be amazing if it happened quickly (this is our first month trying) x

Hoping this is your month! Even though I’ve had this unfortunately all ended in losses. We’ve had 4 miscarriages in the last 14 months. We are still trying now.

We are waiting for the hospital to give us an appointment, we was put on urgent referral around 4 months ago and not heard anything yet 😩 I had basic bloods with the gp which was all clear so I've got to sit tight and wait. So frustrating x

@mlc0 you should defo chase them up just in case ☺️ have you tried low dose aspirin? It worked for me as did progesterone. Being referred all takes such a long time I remember that xx

I only got a very faint positive the day my period was due with my first. So I'd say you could still be pregnant. To save wasting tests I'd wait until you are due your period and test then rather than test every day, as hard as it may be! With my second, I resisted the temptation to test and actually waited until I was a few days overdue (that pregnancy wasn't planned but I had a feeling I was pregnant so waited to see if my period appeared first before I did a test)

i was chatting with my husband the other day and we were saying let’s not waste money on tests, just wait until period is due, but then I went and bought the early detection test today 😅

I feel like I’ve been having symptoms but could just be overthinking - lots of CM, cramps and like a full heavy feeling, gas (!) and very tired/headaches. I know these can all be pre period things but I don’t usually get these before my period. Usually I have thick CM when I’m ovulating but that’s it, this time it seems to have continued. We’ll see!

Also needing to pee in the night!

Im 33 weeks currently..i had a faint positive on early detection 1 day before missed period, it was negative until then..next day on missed period it was obviously positive.

i know I should just be patient but as I woke up at 5 desperate for a wee I did another early test… and I was like wow there’s a faint line within 3 mins, but now it seems to have disappeared. I don’t know if it was just an evap, never used these tests before so not sure. Gonna wait til I’m due now cos it’s just getting silly!

I can see a bit of a line on the right hand side test, is that this mornings one?

@WonderingWanda thank you, yes it is! But then I’m looking at it now and can’t see anything… I know they say not to read it after 5 mins though.

I do feel pregnant which is why I can’t stop testing!

You know this I’m sure but early testing is just pointless. Wait til period is missed. I only got a faint line the day my period was due.
