Is this positive? Or one of those horrid evaps people talk about?

I'm 14 DPO and I've been trying since my chemical in august

I dare not believe it

It’s hard to say OP, how long did it take to show up?

It’s hard to say OP, how long did it take to show up?

I put a timer on my phone for 3 minutes and didn't look until it went off so I'm not sure

I would say wait a couple of days and then test again OP, for 14dpo you’d usually expect a darker line (or at least mine was dark at 14dpo) but of course late ovulation/implantation could affect that. Good luck x

Peonyyyy · 11/04/2024 18:40

When is your period due?

I think I can see a line but it’s hard to tell from these pics

Probablyfinebutworried · 11/04/2024 18:49

There's a definite line there but hard to see how wide. If it's skinny then more likely an evap. Do another one and watch how long it takes to appear, and get a pic in better light.

I've just taken an easy @ home test, I've taken loads of these and never seen a line and I can see a very very faint line

So now I'm worried that I'm going to have another chemical, I had one in august

I'd definitely say that is positive. The second line is clear! Good luck 🤞🏼

Killerqueenie · 11/04/2024 20:11

That's what my positive looked like at 15dpo. It didn't get darker until a few days later. I'd count that as a positive. It's possible you may have ovulated a day or two later, and that's why it could still be faint.

I didn't track with my ovulation strips this month so I was just guessing tbh, so that is possible, I was going by my period due date my cycle is 25-27 days, so I've tested day 27

Did you have any cramps?

I've had some cramps all evening now and I never had this with my first but I did with my chemical

The easy@home looks to be flooded OP as in the dye has run a bit. For reference this was my easy@home from this pregnancy at 14dpo it was really quite a strong line

It looks like mine did at 14dpo OP. Although not to worry you mine was sadly a chemical 😢. Here is mine

Yes it is faint, I just took another this morning and that's faint to. It could be another chemical. Although I'm not sure when I ovulated as I wasn't tracking I just guessed.

I guess we shall see

What should I do? Just wait or buy another test? ☹️

Is your period usually regular? Are you late now? You could try a different brand test xx

Well it was 25 days but last month it was 27 so I waited until it was due yesterday (day 27). It's been fairly regular since January, I didn't have a period for almost 3 months after my last chemical, but I was also still breastfeeding my daughter at bedtime which I only stopped a week ago.

Last time I had a chemical my period came at exactly 4 weeks which if it were to happen again, 4 weeks will be tomorrow for me.

Are you tracking ovulation? Unfortunately the test is very light so unless you've tested early (say 11dpo), I'd say its very light for 15+ dpo.

Mrsttcno1 · 12/04/2024 08:53

OP I would say leave it for now, test again in 2 days. In theory if a healthy pregnancy then HCG doubles roughly every 48 hours, so if you test again in 2 days then you would expect to see a much stronger line x

I have been but didn't for last 2 cycles because I found it was stressing me, so I just guessed.

I did have some cramps on Tuesday and Wednesday last week (which is 10-11 days) which could have been ovulation (I am just guessing)

My guess ovulation day was 15 days today

Yes it's not great that it's so light

Why is this happening to me again I just don't understand

Yes I had cramps and pulling/pinching sensations in my lower abdomen. I also had really sore breasts with my first but I didn't with my second. Both were successful pregnancies. I would wait another 2 days to test as the HCG doubles every 48 hours.
