Could I still be pregnant?

My cycles are regular as clockwork, apart from January when I took fertility ‘sweeties’ (can’t say the G word or I get filtered) which made my cycle that month 29 days instead of the usual 24 -26 days. I use Flo to track and it’s usually spot on. I know I ovulate as I’ve had all the tests twice and I definitely get EWCM.

We’ve been on holiday and had a lot of sex, but in the days after ovulation and I was due to get my period on the day we travelled home. But no period has arrived. I’m on cd31 now. Did a test yesterday and it was negative.

Could I still be pregnant or is it more likely my period has taken a holiday too due to the travelling? This has happened once before a few years ago around the time one of my parents died, so it is possible it’s a stress reaction for me, although I’d love it to be a baby!

Hi OP, do you know what date you ovulated? If you have a typical cycle then I’d say it’s unlikely that you would be pregnant now and be testing negative, but if there’s a chance you ovulated later in your cycle then that could explain it.

Was you stressed before ovulation? Stress can cause ovulation to happen later which then means your period would be later too. Also if you ovulated later means you could be less dpo than you think so not showing positive if you are pregnant. If the stress was after ovulation then it wouldn’t affect AF.

Think I ovulated around day 15 and yes I would have been quite stressed around then. We flew off on holiday on day 18 and I hate getting ready to go on holiday (I know, I am strange!)

If you did ovulate on CD 15 then if you were pregnant you would expect to have a positive test by now if you are currently CD 31, that would be around 16dpo so would be a pretty clear and solid line. It is probably more likely that the holiday, flight, stress, change of routine has just set your period back a bit x

And of course, after I’d done a pregnancy test and posted about it here, my period arrived! 🙄😤
