Morning all. So glad to see I'm not the only dork around here!

Lottie Hope it was a lucky one! and have a lovely time on your yoga holiday.

Minxi I was at the dentist this morning too!

Herby So sorry your not feeling well .

I don't know what is going on with this cycle I'm so confused! The past three days my temp taking has not been brilliant. Wed and Thurs I woke up 15 minutes later than normal and today a full half hour. FF didn't give me an open circle on any of the temps, but I wonder if I should change them to reflect the time difference? Any suggestions?

PrePG · 02/05/2008 12:48

Nevermind. I think I figured it out. I think I did ovulate yesterday (which would be great since we managed to get lots of well-timed BD in! ) as I had a temp rise this morning that is pretty much in line with my post-o temps from my previous cycles. It's just that I always forget FF needs 3 temps to confirm ovulation! It will probably give me an O date in a couple of days.

Hoping that my lack of CM will not have been a deal breaker

minxi · 02/05/2008 13:48

Lottie have a lovely weekend - sounds brilliant fun and healthy?!
Prepg I am rubbish at working out ovulation you need a professional chart stalker!! Probably Ready or Sarah was v good!
Ready where are you - hope you are okay...

I saw my consultant yesterday for a follow up and he basically said he doesn't understand it after 2 ds and nothing wrong with me or dh why we are not getting pregnant - said only other option he would recommend would be ivf as he was certain that would be successful... I did agree (when I saw him 7 months ago I said I couldn't see myself doing ivf/iui etc!!!) and so now he is writing a letter to my gp and the ivf clinic which is fairly local to me. Told dh and he said "how much does it cost" I said I didn't ask as that to me wasn't important! Anyway as we are abroad alot in Spain, there is a clinic in Marbella, have emailed them today to find out the procedure and costs over there - which might be interesting! Little bit worried but hey after 3 years it would be harder not trying all the options before giving up...

Hi Everyone! Lovely long weekend ahead of us ...

Herby ... so sorry you're feeling low. Hope you start feeling better soon!

Lottie ... have a wonderful yoga weekend! Fingers crossed this morning's bd session was as lucky as your CBD purchase at Superdrug!

Prpg ... honestly, I don't think 15-30 minutes makes much of a difference at all. Excellent work on the well timed BD'ing!!

PrePG · 02/05/2008 17:28

Thanks Clair I'm not very hopeful this month as I was so confused about O'ing because there was pretty much NO EWCM I really hope his super swimmers are like Olympic gold medal type guys! So I guess we'll see.

But, more importantly...are you testing this weekend?!?!?

tinkiswaiting · 02/05/2008 17:30

good luck prep

Clairvoyanttoo · 02/05/2008 17:55

Hey Prepg ... I never used to have much until I started to take some Evening Primrose Oil at the start of my cycle. I saw a definite improvement the first month ... honestly, I went from scant supply to lots!!! Just something to think about in case you don't hit the jackpot this time around ... although of course I hope you do!!

Clairvoyanttoo · 02/05/2008 17:59

OK. Missed the whole testing thing ... maybe I should start taking something for my eyesight, let alone EPO for EWCM!!

Doubt I'll get to test this weekend. Feeling pretty AF-y. FF did spot a 'potentially triphasic' pattern on my chart for the first time, but then my temp drop always comes by 13DPO ... so we'll have to see what happens tomorrow. If no AF & temp still high by Sunday then I just might test. But again, feeling af-ish ... and not experiencing any wacky symptoms at all.

Thanks for asking, Prepg!!

PrePG · 02/05/2008 18:04

Good luck Claire! My fingers are crossed for you!

Funny thing, is this is my first month taking EPO, and I thought it would help! Maybe it needs a few months to kick in? Oh, well! I think I may just invest in some preseed for next cycle just in case I have this issue again. Unfortunately, as I'm only temping, it doesn't help much in predicting O when I don't have any EWCM! Might have to invest in a CBD monitor as the secret about the sticks has been discovered!

Clairvoyanttoo · 02/05/2008 19:01

I'm thinking of getting a CBD monitor also Prepg ... I keep scanning eBay for a good deal. There's one company that has about 200 of them in a single listing for 69.99 BNIB with sticks etc ... only thing is, the packaging is old. So, it could be a great deal or else the expiry date's run out on everything (although I don't suppose that would affect the monitor at all and even if you have to buy new sticks, you're still getting a good deal on the monitor itself). We use preseed occasionally too ... don't know if DH is a big fan, but I like it!

Fingers crossed for the Olympic swimmers

Squack · 02/05/2008 19:56

7dpo- sharp stabbing pains in both ovaries today, temp still good. Headachey, feel crap with a sore throat that has been threatening for 3 days.

Tested this afternoon with the faintest of faint pink lines on it. Will wait another couple of days and then do one again just in case it was evap line.

herbgarden · 02/05/2008 21:08

which test did you use Squack? An early 7day + one ??

I've avoided testing - I have some 10 miu in my cupboard but have decided to leave them there......I have AF-y feelings so don't hold out any hopes....
Let us know what happens !

Squack · 02/05/2008 22:15

It was a 10miu one Herby, however I'm choosing to think of it as an evap line because it's done my head in enough today.

I can't get my hopes up after last month, so evap line it is and I'm waiting until Tuesday before considering testing.

Cramps have gone now

Sorry to hear you're not feeling great. Hope it's good news from you soon, have you updated your chart?

ah havn't ov - it was just the excess alcohol...

Squak - I would agree with you wait until you are late.... Personally I would test (so I knew to alter my alcohol consumption and eating etc) but wait for 18 high temps before thinking of it as a confirmed pregnancy

I hadn't realised how often chemical pregnancy occurs.....

Please excuse my invading for a bit, Just came to see how Ready, Minxi and London Lottie are doing (LL - I was mum03 before). Also to ask if anyone has heard from Rahrah recently? Think of you all regularly.

I notice that several of the newer folks here are several days dpo.... wish you all the best and hope you all get good results soon.
