fym · 11/04/2008 07:56

well just tried some retail therepy and bought an ipod and the hypnotherepy cd (well the mp3 download) just waiting for the ipod to arrive.

Trouble is Dh just realised how much we're spending (well me ) our food bill was £900 for 3 of us last month - no wonder I'm fat. Trouble is we're really close to an M&S food and it is so tempting to pop out. (PS DH is completely exempt from any criticism on spending as he doesn't have any credit cards - so he takes cash off me this means when we do a budget the only 'spending' is mine )

I just find I get so bored during the day wwith noone to chat to and mumsnet is often quite depressing....

FYM sorry you're feeling down. Hopefully the increasingly spring-like weather will help! I find it hard to be in a bad mood when it's still sunny at 8pm!

Lottie I'm right with you on the career crisis! I've been in my current job for just over a year now. It was nice for a change in the beginning, but I realize it's not the place I'm working or anything, it's just the job that I do that I don't like. I think I'd like to get into graphic design, but I'd have to retrain and I'm constantly putting it off. Always think that maternity leave would be the perfect time to do some extra training in the evenings - maybe an online course

Well, I guess I did ovulate because I was 36.19 this morning at 5:15, a full hour earlier than my normal wakeup. Used the adjusted temp here. Fym, now it looks like we're 2WW buddies as well!

Rushing off frantically as been up since 5:15 packing, now at work and trying to sort stuff out before being off to the pub!

Oh no....I just thought....pub...during 2WW.... I really don't think we caught it this time, only got in one BD 2 days before. And I can't not drink at my own leaving do, everyone will KNOW something is up!

Hey everyone! This is my favourite part of the week ...

FYM ... sorry you're feeling blue!

MN definitely can be depressing. I used to read a lot of the conception threads but for the past month or more I've kept to our wee thread & don't even look at the other posts. Too easy to waste precious time otherwise or else worry about stuff you'd never thought to have worried about in the first place.

tinkerbellbringingsexyback · 11/04/2008 18:50

heres hoping that my temp goes up tomorrow
have been feeling really emotionallast few day! not an emotional person!!,have excess saliva and cramps

herbgarden · 11/04/2008 20:22

Hi all
trying to catch up after a couple of days away.....and - didn't temp yesterday as I was staying with a friend and ds slept til 7.45am (he NEVER does this) and I had the bed to myself so made the most of it.... with a good mag and a cuppa !

Loving the Litmus Loo Roll....

Welcome tinker (was about to call you "tinkle" until I scrolled back up (!)) - I too have 1 ds but everyone here is very supportive. Don't feel like an imposter !....

Sarah - aren't women horrible sometimes. I so can't be bothered with that playground mentality which you get in the workplace. Life is too flippin' short to be that awful to someone you've not taken time to get to know....I worked with a guy a couple of years ago who I couldn't stand...and thank god he'd left when I got off back of mat leave. It was a huuuuuge relief. He was desperately insecure and as soon as I arrived to start my job there he just gave me a hard time and was always trying to pull one over me or trip me up. Ooh I feel myself getting all wound up just thinking about it. Anyway, thank goodness you're out of there...forget them it's not worth it.

Sorky - yes we're buddies again. Although I may be avoiding the BDing this month (or maybe I will in the hope that if I don't want to have a Late Dec/Early jan baby maybe I might conceive ).

Feeling fat today - had a curry last night, pizza and chips with kids at lunch and as I refused our usual curry takeaway for dinner I gave into fish and chips - I am usually a home cooking healthy eater.....I sound like a lazy arse takeaway merchant when I reel this lot off.....

Right...am watching my skyplussed The Apprentice from Wed night. Must go.

hello to everyone else and sorry if I've not managed to catch up completely on all your posts ! Must try harder next week....

My head is banging a bit this morning...owwwwwww. I started the evening off with a diet coke and vowed to contain myself...but the white wine started flowing and in the end, I just thought 'F*ck it'. It's been a rotten few days. And in case there was any doubt about those women's intention to hurt me, they also didn't bother to sign my card. Now that takes a lot of effort--people definitely noticed and would have asked them repeatedly if they'd done it. So now the whole office knows what petty bitches they are, including their boss! Hee heee heee heee!

Thanks again all, I know I keep going on about it, but it really helps to be told again and again that it's THEM who are the weird ones, not me!

No temp this morning, really no point as I'm up late and hung over---temp will be skewed as anything!

Fym, I'm with you there, no testing until at least 14DPO!

tinkerbellbringingsexyback · 12/04/2008 08:16

hi sarah hope you head gets better dont blame you drinking all the wine.
now you can leave those bitches for ever

Good morning everyone! Feels like I'm going all Kamikaze on my ovulation here ... waiting for CM before we start BD'ing as we normally start too early (CD10 for us) and then run out of steam by CD16 when I nomally O. For the past few cycles CM has arrived on CD14 ... today ... feels risky to leave it so late but anything's worth a try!
