Mix of positive and negative tests. So confused!

Hi all.
I think I may be pregnant. My partner and I did IUI 9th of March and I have been testing for pregnancy ever since 10dpo or so.
I tested out trigger shot and got blank white negative results after that.
Long story short.. I got a faint line on an early pregnancy test yesterday morning. Just as I was giving up hope. My period is late by 3 days.
A few days ago, I also got faint lines when testing. Then it was followed by negative ones..
And so, now again positive test yesterday followed by a negative this morning. Ugh! But I also have been drinking quite a lot water during last night, do perhaps thats why.
I will add a photo of the positive test from yesterday.

@Misscherie this looks like a flooded test as there is pink between the control and test line. Do you have a picture of the other positive tests ?

Misscherie · 26/03/2024 07:15

Yes, I have other and better pictures, without the pink dye background. But they are too big to upload here:(
I didnt take a picture of the negative tests, as they are obviously negative.

I would say these are positive. I’ve been using these particular tests for 2 years and in that time I didn’t even get as much as a sniff of a line until I was actually pregnant.

Judgejudysno1fan · 26/03/2024 12:12

Looks positive !!! Congrats

Mumma8538 · 26/03/2024 13:07

These @Misscherie def look positive ! Are you testing all with the same brand or different ?

Yeah, thats my thoughts too.
But so strange the test didnt show, even though you were pregnant.
Perhaps the "babyplan" brand is not so good quality afterall. I might shift test brand, simce I keep getting mixed results from them all the time.

I’d get a clear blue digital to see what that says

Yes, I am testing with the same brand. In particular the sensitive ones from babyplan. But my issue is that they keep me in a rollercoster of emotions, lol. Cause I keep getting both faint lines and negative ones. There is no pattern in it, like if the lines are fading or getting darker. Its either faint positive one day or negative the other day. So frustrating! I will keep testing until I either get my period, or a positive development in the tests.

Yes, I have already bought a digital one. But I want to save that one a bit still, since its more expensive, lol.:) but are the digital ones more sensitive to testing?

It must be very confusing for you @Misscherie I would say it’s positive and maybe the negative ones are from a too diluted wee! Because otherwise why are you getting positive ones?!
I would say if you are 3 days late on AF then a digital will give you a def answer, as I would have thought it would pick up if 3 days late.
