Anyone had a rapid low to high LH surge?

Hi all. Cycle day 15 and desperately ttc baby #1 after 2 miscarriages. Usually have peak today but absolutely no sign of an LH surge let alone a peak. My tests are low and reading 0.2. Will the surge come on rapidly? For example, right now my test result is very low but this evening could it be high? So anxious I’m not going to ovulate this month 😭

Also should note, I’m showing signs of ovulation as in lots of EWCM and have 29 day cycles

@LW678 I believe surge can happen quickly so low in morning then peak in evening then back to low by next morning so possible to miss it on strips if you've got all the signs or might not have surged yet.
I'm also ttc #1 following two mc but have no idea where i am in my cycle at the mo. Good luck with your journey and sorry for your losses.

When you get to just before you think you might ovulate I think the guidance is to test morning and evening. Opks are different in that lh is higher in the evening than the morning, so it's best to test once a day in the evening and then around this time, both morning and evening so you don't miss it. Which says to me it can be easy to miss. Sorry if you've heard all this before as I know you've been trying for a while but not sure how long you've been doing opks.

Here's mine over the last few days it shot up quickly. Suggest doing LH testing at least twice a day

I would say that it could be your peak today or tomorrow.

I’m the same, always got very sudden peak! Annoying as hard to plan ahead. We DTD as soon I got peak and day after

LW678 · 25/03/2024 06:50

@Rosesanddaisies1 sudden as in low in the morning then high in the evening or within a few hours? X

It can happen quickly so I'd definitely be testing at least twice a day. Also bear in mind your peak might not be as high as others. My highest peak has only ever been 0.82 but this is high enough to still ovulate as I've fallen pregnant before when its topped out at 0.7. It doesn't have to be over 1, just peak.

Thank you for your help!
