I can breathe deeply, not sure about the relaxing though, but that is what TTC'ing is all about isn't it?

Can never decide wether I love TTC'ing or absolutely hate it....!

Heron23 · 27/03/2008 11:14

i am starting to hate it...but will have to be positive and enjoy the BD in 12 days time!

now i can have a glass of wine, that i am not preg!

NatalieJane · 27/03/2008 11:16

Yes always look on the bright side, a bottle glass of wine sounds lovely

popcornprincess · 27/03/2008 11:21

anyone know why i keep crying this morning and have a temper which means that even he cat has got it in the neck from me! Is it because this whole thing is stressing me out or because my period is going to come and be a whopper. I know you ladies don't know the answer but I just needed to get that off my chest.

OP posts:
NatalieJane · 27/03/2008 11:24

Could be any of the above, or because you are pregnant. Any chance of having five minutes to yourself to calm down a bit?

popcornprincess · 27/03/2008 11:33

yes I can take 5. I just feel like a coiled spring thats going to ping any minute

NatalieJane · 27/03/2008 11:39

That is the not knowing thing.

Go and chill out somewhere quiet. I am going to admit to this thing I do to relax, imagine lying down on your back, and physically relax the muscles in your neck, shoulders, arms, tummy, back, legs, really feel each set relax, now imagine a light starting at the top of your head, moving slowly around your body, bit by bit, as if it were drawing an outline of your body, so from your head going around your ear, down the side of your neck, onto your shoulder, all the way down your arm, around your thumb and then fore finger etc. etc. etc. all around your body. I don't normally go in for lentel weavering things, but this is honestly the best way I find of relaxing, and because you are thinking in detail of where the light is moving from/to you can't think of other stressful things.

BigTeuchLittleTeuch · 27/03/2008 12:13

NJ - I have a couple of relaxation techniques but I have been forgettingabout them so thanks for that reminder!!!

I particularly like the yoga nose breathing one where yuo alternate nostrils...I can't think of anything apart from the breath and which nostril I am on!!

And I used to do the 'ocean breath' at night when I couldn't sleep, much to DH's chagrin...I did sound like a snottery boar...

BigTeuchLittleTeuch · 27/03/2008 12:15

I completely forgot about my yoga breathing in labour as well btw...

But I am still amazed at how quickly a bit of deep breathing can really calm you right down. Must remember that next time...

I must get my breathing right this time, I was completely useless with DD1's birth, DD2 was much better but I did still get a bit panicky and needed a bit of G&A at the end. Do you think I can do it pain relief free this time???

calsworld · 27/03/2008 12:18

Hi all, found you - just about managed to catch up, got time for a quick post, then grab a sarnie and off to a boooooring meeting this afternoon.

I'm on CD15 today and have kept up a very impressive GOF per day.

Yesterday I had slight pains (ov?) and some pinky discharge so think that could be it for this month....will probably try to fit in one more GOF tonight but need a blardy rest!!!

DH is well happy but we're both absolutely knackered coz DS keeps waking up early - really need to just try to go to bed earlier!!!

Fingers crossed all the BD'ing has been to good effect as well as excellent exercise. Been great for our relationship as well .

Will try to catch up later but have friend over for dinner so it might be tomorrow now .

NatalieJane · 27/03/2008 12:32

Teuch, I don't know either of the two you've said about! I am sure the snorting one is erm.... attractive....!

Moosma, I am sure you can do it pain relief free this time.... just don't ask me if I can!!

Cal very impressed re. the GOF everyday! Fingers crossed it is enough to get the job done

I don't think I breathed at all through out either of my labours, was wayyyyy too busy screaming, shouting, mooing, and wailing

Hello,

Love the new name!

I have a week until I can test, a whole bloody week.

Im so tired! I want to go to sleep but I have to go back to work.

Playingthewaitinggame · 27/03/2008 13:02

Hi Kay, I think coming home for lunch can be an evil thing, you never want to go back. I always try to resist going home for that very reason!

tinkerbell2 · 27/03/2008 13:04

any adviece ladies on which cycle day to start bding every toher day and which cycle to bd up too?

sorry to hear that you are tired k

kayzisbroody · 27/03/2008 13:05

I know, its horrible.

I've just looked at my bank statement and Vodafone have taken £53 out of my bank account and my contract has run out.

kayzisbroody · 27/03/2008 13:15

Bloody idiots forgot to take Febuary's payement out so have taken out out 2 months at once.

Playingthewaitinggame · 27/03/2008 13:16

Naughty vodafone. Ring up your back, tell the you cancel the dd with vodafone as your contract is expired and ask them to get the money back, as its a dd they should be able to do that and it will be quicker than fighting with vodafone. Mind you you will have to ring vodafone as well otherwise they will start sending you nasty letters.

NatalieJane · 27/03/2008 13:26

IME whenever a contract runs out or you up-grade it every single company we have ever used have cocked up with payments, O2 were the worst feckers! Still makes me cross now even thinking about it! We had gone through a whole new contract with 3 before O2 finally stopped bombarding us with phone calls and threatening letters, all because of their stoopid computer system. Grrrrrrrr!

Tink I think really speaking because of your mamouth cycle last month, you will just have to GOF every other day to make sure you catch when you OV! Keep a look out for the EWCM, and maybe even invest in some OPK's or something else to help clarify it for you?

NatalieJane · 27/03/2008 13:30

Forgot to say what I'd come on to say

OK I need the TTC/cycle experts help please.(I am glad we have a no info is too much info rule on here! And if you eating lunch look away now!) I felt kind of ahem, damp down there () thought ah bugger period has come, went to bathroom expecting to see blood but instead find loads and loads of milky white CM, almost jelly like but strethcy, almost EWCM but milky and a little thicker, bleurghhhh, what the hell is it?!

kayzisbroody · 27/03/2008 13:30

Blooming idiots,

Right I'd better get back to work.

Talk later

NatalieJane · 27/03/2008 13:31

Stretchy even....!
