Hi all, sorry about absence. Been a bit of a rollercoaster at my end - but not nearly as much as it has been for LG&T. I guess you probably won't be reading here for a bit, but if you are, know that my thoughts are with you.
From one end of the scale to another....KAY - HOW EXCITING??!!! I can't say how pleased I am for you, but believe me its very.
NJ, hope you're feeling OK, all seems a bit odd but you need to push harder for an appt. Tell them you need an appt and if they say they've gone, ask her what she is going to do about it. TBH, I'm sure they're not allowed to keep refusing you like they are.
DS hasn't got CP, we think he's had hand, foot and mouth, but I haven't had an opportunity to read about it yet so will be doing that next. I took him to the GP on Weds am and he confirmed it def. wasn't CP so I phoned nursery to tell them but mention that he had spots in his mouth (which the doc couldn't explain) and manager immediately said, oh that'll be H, F & M, we've had a couple of cases. Apparently they don't ask the kids to stay away because by the time they exhibit clear symptoms, its too late.
So, dropped DS at nursery, legged it home and packed a bag and drove to Reading. I had already missed one meeting but was able to attend the most important one today. Rang DH this am to see how DS had been overnight, apparently he woke up at 1am so DH took him into bed with us, but instead of settling which he normally does, he kept getting up and walking around on the bed and trying to turn the light on!! poor DH - I know its not funny really but you've got to laugh!!!
Right, going to go and read about hand, foot and mouth....love to you all, hope to catch up again soon.
(Oh - and as I'm on 2ww, I am, naturally, symptom spotting like crazy! I've had loads of tummy cramps today, like I'm due on, but its too early for that, I think and have been having headaches which isn't like me.)
