Can't see the doctor today, apparently by 8.45 (when they decided to pick the phone up) all appointments have been booked up today, but if I get me, DS1 (inset day tomorrow) and DS2 down to the doctors door step for 8 o'clock tomorrow morning there will be a doctor that will see me if he feels like it.

Well I'd be at the bloody doctors and I wouldn't bloody leave until I saw a doctor.

Dh went yesterday at about half 3 and made an appointment for half 3 Friday afternoon.

Why cant all doctors be the same?

Yes - go to a&e. Once you are there, they have to see you. They can't refuse. My doctor advised me to do it all the time if DD is ill.

They have always been absolute cunts at getting appointments, they have even turned DS2 away when he was fitting.

God I am sooooooooo angry, got too much stuff going on today to sit and wallow, DH has said he is going to phone and have a go, but there is no point, if he did that they just wouldn't see me tomorrow, I can't even get there for 8 o'clock tomorrow, the buses don't start till 7.30 and by the time I have got into town and walked to the surdery at DS1's pace it will be getting on for 8.15 and everyone else that has rang for an appointment today and not got one will be there, there is no way I'll get in.

Besides bearing in mind what it is about, I don't mind DS2 being there, but DS1 is too old, he understands too much.

Exactly Kay, but with not feeling poorly and period late, they will just assume I am pregnant, they will know I have a good idea that it isn't anything more sinister, so they will know I have gone because I am too bloody impatient to wait for period/BFP.

Besides, I have DS1's parents evening today, I can't be there and waiting for 6 hours at a&e.

My washing machine has just died! It beeped like it had finished, carried on for a bit then went bang and has died completely. I've rung a man and he's coming tomorrow pm but I have to do a big nappy wash on saturday, it had better be working by then or I'll be carting stinky nappies down to mum's house!

ours died a few months back we had to get a new one is a nightmare when you dont have one!! had to give my mum tons of washing to do!!
