Could I be pregnant? Is there such a thing as a 3WW?

I am so confused about this.

I temp, check CM and am pretty sure of when I ovulate, give or take a day.

DH and I had sex on the Sunday, and I ovulated on the following Wednesday. I did not ovulate again in the month, and DH and I were not exactly... active.

I then proceeded to have back ache, exactly as I did when I was pregnant before.

At 14 dpo my temp dropped and I got my period. It lasted 5 days and was reasonably heavy, bright red blood, nothing to distinguish it from any other period.

Today is CD7 of my new cycle - two days after my period ended. From day 3 of my period my temps started to creep up again and today it was 36.8 - a normal luteal phase temp for me. It's way too high for my usual follicular phase.

I did a test (Boots cheapie) just to confirm that I am going out of my mind and... there's a line. It is not dark but it is there. Those of you who have had the misfortune to read about my loathing of clearblue and the 3 faulty tests I had this cycle will know about my uncanny ability to imagine lines, but seriously I am not imagining this. I am going to put a photo on my profile page to prove it.

After all that, the bleed and everything - and a bit of a lack of sex, could I be pregnant? Or maybe it could be a CP?

This is so odd I don't know what to think.

I think it must be due around 26 November, but since it is related to me will be approx 2 weeks late.

I really can't believe it.

Ah thats fab news scary - am 20 wks pg myself. Did a clearblue after many similarly imagined faint lines, only to get a NOT PREGNANT with clearblue. Repeated the test with CB the following morning (I knew I was pg) and got my BFP.
Huge congrats to you

ScaryHairy · 26/03/2008 20:49

Thanks for the congratulations.
I am a little stunned and suspect I will be doing repeat tests every day or so for quite a while!

Let me help to redress the balance for my fellow unbalanced TTCers. In my case, if it looks like a period, and feels like a period, it was ... you got it, a period! I am NOT pg, my wierd days were just wierd days! Still most happy for Scary's BFP though!
