Hi everyone!

Hope plenty of baby dust is coming your way!
I'm just looking for guidance on doing an early pregnancy test? I've been doing research where I've found a really sensitive HCG test which detects pregnancy 6 days before period is due.

Currently have discomfort in my breasts/nipples, increased fatigue and mood swings. Unfortunately I have PCOS and Endometriosis so these symptoms may indicate early pregnancy but could also be my conditions affecting it.

Just seeing what everyone's thoughts are about doing an early test if you've found the right one to do it with are?

So hard not to think about it!

Hi, Iv recently been diagnosed with PCOS. My first month on metformin. I couldn't pin point ovulation this month so no idea what DPO I am but got it in my head I feel pregnant 😫 tested multiple times with different early tests such as easy@home, Premom, clearblue, boots and FRER. I'm convinced I can see shadows 😂.

Iv had 3 consecutive losses/chemicals so I'm desperate for our little miracle.

I would recommend Premom for cheap early detection. I don't rate clearblue. How many DPO are you? X

@JNicko hello!

PCOS is just the tip of the iceberg isn't it!
Metformin didn't agree with me for the first couple of weeks I slowly had to increase it to 1500mg per day but now I notice no side effects from it!

If I'm right I should be around 5/6 DPO so apparently can take the test from Friday. Slowly preparing myself to not see two lines but just have to remain positive!

Keep me posted on your journey. It can be lonely sometimes!

That's all we can do is remain positive. Yes I'm now on 1500mg dose and I'm not currently getting any real side effects. I know some people struggle with it. Stupid question but what does metformin actually do for you if you have PCOS? Iv not actually been told 😂. We are you planning on testing as late as Friday?

Metformin supports with the insulin resistance we experience (diabetes on the ovaries basically) to help make the environment better for us down below!
Yeah I'm planning to on Friday that's the earliest I can take one according to the test so we shall see!

Oh really that's good to know 😊 I'm so bad at testing some months. I just get it into my head that I'm pregnant 😩
