Help! Faint lines on pregnancy tests

Hi everyone. I have been TTC for over a year, I had one chemical pregnancy last July and since then nothing. I thought my period came early on 18th Feb but last Saturday I received a positive Clearblue test, so I now think it was an implantation bleed. I had heavy bleeding for a day and then very very light for the next three days. I believe it has been four weeks since I ovulated. I got 1-2 weeks positive CB test last Sunday and I have been doing a few cheapie tests over the last week. I haven't received a dark line yet and on the Boots brand ones - even the control like was faint. I.took these two this morning. The pink very very faint one was after five minutes but then it got darker over the next 10mins or so. The blue Boots one had a faint control and test line. I'm worried it's going to be another chemical. What do you think?

I think you're okay. You must be about six weeks pregnant by now and those lines are good.

Have you tried a CBD? You should get at least a 2-3 weeks on one.

Thank you for replying! I thought the lines should be darker by now but that's good you both think they look okay. I did a CBD last Sunday which was 1-2 weeks and then again on Friday just gone and it was still 1-2 weeks so that's what worried me and made me think my HCG levels weren't rising. I have a doctor's appt on Wednesday so hoping they'll check my levels!

Or take another digital and see what it says.

I got a 2-3 weeks on Clearblue digital today. Doctor thinks it should showing 3 plus by now but levels could just be lower than the average. Getting my bloods done next week. Fingers crossed!

Huh? Which doctor thinks it should be showing 3+ by now? I didn’t think doctor’s made comments like that regarding digital tests showing progression, because they vary widely.

Congratulations OP! I also had my first very faint line on a pregnancy test yesterday and am just crossing my fingers so tightly as I had a chemical and also an early loss in the last 7 months so am hoping this is 3rd time lucky for me.
Can I ask do you know roughly when your ovulation date was? Wondering when I can buy a CBD and hope for 2-3 weeks.

She just thought it would be higher as I ovulated about over a month ago now. She did say not to be concerned about it and to not rely on them.

Pretty sure I ovulated on the 10th Feb and I had what I thought was my period but think was implantation bleeding on the 18th for about three days. As someone else said the CBD tests do vary a lot I think. But I did a one last Friday and it still said 1-2 weeks and then again this morning as I had a Doctor's appt and today it was 2-3 even though it's more than 4 weeks since I ovulated. Whereas some people get it much earlier. Who knows, hopefully it's not a bad sign. Maybe carry on doing the cheapie tests and see if you get a stronger line and see if the doctor can monitor your HCG. Mine was good as I had a previous loss so hopefully yours would be.

I never got a 3+ on a clear blue and my boy is almost 2, they are notoriously inaccurate so try not to worry.

I've heard of other women who never got a 3 weeks on a CBD, and all was well.

Tbh it sounds more likely you ovulated later as you said you think you did. Hcg is clearly increases which is the important thing :)
