When is the best time to DTD

I’m roughly following smep but by the time it gets to my peak and then ovulation day we never manage to DTD. It’s usually 1 day before my peak or the day after ovulation.

Nothing seems to of worked as of yet 🤣 so just wondering what DTD got you pregnant and on what day?

We concieved by regularly dtd from period end to ovulation

Have the sperm there ready and waiting

The day before ovulation and two days before seem to be the best for cocneption. This month we DTD on CD 12, 13 (LH peak) and 14 (ovulation). However, the next day, my BBT didn't rise like normal. Nor the next day, and I had EWCM again. I realised I had failed to ovulate and my body had another try on CD16. We didn't manage to DTD again and I was convinced I was out. Nope! BFP 10 DPO (second ovulation date!).
