Heya mamas. I'm a mother of 3 (g15, b13, b9) and im currently trying to conceive again after 9 years. Bit of background, got divorced (nasty on his side) won everything so woo onto better things. Met my new fella in nov 2022 and have been off the pill since May last year 23. Are there any tips for mamas crazy to try again after so long? I'm using the app flo to try and track everything and have started taking pregnacare vitamins. It's not going to be Easy with my partners condition (nerve damage in his legs) but we're actively trying this year and not leaving it to the mindset of if it happens it happens. Sorry for the long one. Tia.

Hi, I’m TTC number 2 and my first was born 10 years ago. I’ve been TTC almost a year now. Tried a bunch of stuff - herbs, supplements, exercise, no exercise, bbt, OPKs et etc.
did get pregnant in nov but had a missed miscarriage arojnd 8 weeks. So I know I can conceive!
i think it’s just age working against me. ‘It starts with the egg’ book is good especially if you’re older like me (almost 38).
if you want to try bbt / temperature tracking then the fertility friend app is really good, so you can be sure you’re timing things right. It’s basic in appearance but has a lot of data and really good course and Q&A about learning about fertile signs.
after doing everything and getting stressed I’ve now stopped tracking much but will probably come back to using the OPKs etc at some point. I hear clearblue are good but they are super £££.
probably just the basics are most important - folic acid, vitamin d, healthy weight, healthy diet, and dtd as much as possible especially when you have stretchy discharge.
best of luck

@SpiderLulu87 we have a lot in common! I too am ttc #4 with new partner
youngest is nearly 9 and oldest 13!
month 10 here and had 2 chemicals so I know we can conceive.
starting agnus cactus this month for 3 months so see if that helps as I’m worrying about low progesterone due to my age -39
do you use opks?
I never got on with them trying for my 3 but I’m getting on so good with them this time, I don’t think I was using them correctly before!

how long did your others take ?
mine were #1- 3 years unexplained infertility
then 4 months and 4 months so no kind of patten to it!

With my first we didn't really plan she just happened haha with my second we caught the same month with my third it took about a year so God knows how long this will take. Never tried basal temp ones, I'm tempted to go to the Dr's just to make sure everything's working right. Yeah I'm 37 too so clocks ticking as they say lol

I’ve never checked basal temp, just do opks from Amazon and I’ve finally got them working for me.
Hopefully see our bfps on here soon 🤞🏻🤞🏻

It’s the ovulation sticks that you pee on- (ovulation predictor kit)
I only ever got faint lines before but I don’t think I was testing enough or for enough days.
using them this time and they are working really good for me. But maybe they have come on a bit in 15 years which is the last time I tried them!
