11 DPO BFN - spotting 10DPO After DTD

First time posting here!
very early in the journey of ttc so I’m not super sure on some of the abbreviations.
yesterday was 10 dpo and we dtd for fun and when finished there was lots of pink spotting - I thought af was coming but it stopped and hasn’t got any worse or happened again today (11dpo) I’ve got the usual pms symptoms with the exception of cramping. I usually get quite bad cramps and they’re extremely mild atm. Having an awful time sleeping this week but am getting BFN using the easy @ home tests. Not even a glimmer of a vvf positive. I’ve been reading other people’s stories about getting a bfp even on the early tests after af was due. Basically my question is do you think it was implantation bleeding after sex last night or the very early start of a period which has since been delayed or I dunno… I’m bloated and tired (lack of sleep at night) with not much else to go on. I don’t feel it’s my month but who knows I didn’t take a pic of the spotting but it was super light pink but went completely after wiping.
has anyone experienced anything like this and gone on to have a bfp?
thanks!

It’s really hard to say if it’s implantation bleeding as a lot of women don’t actually experience it. I think when ttc we all symptom spot and hope it’s a sign. When I was trying for my first baby, I had spotting not long after dtd. I was really hopeful it was implantation bleeding but after a routine check with the gp, I was told it was an irritated cervix mainly due to how often I was dtd to get pregnant.

I also didn’t get my first positive test until I was two days late so please don’t lose hope. You’re not out until your period comes.

It’s addictive testing early, you look for every sign and symptom you’re pregnant and then feel rubbish when you get a negative test. You also spend so much money, even on cheap tests. I tried for years for my little girl, best advice I can give is don’t give in to testing early. Try hold off until your period is due. I know it’s easy for me to say but I know the heartbreak from testing early and the stress you put upon yourself, it’s just not worth it.

I hope this is your month! 🤞

@Hiddenvoice thank you for your reply. I am a sucker for symptom spotting and early testing. The tww seems to go on forever. I’m wondering if it was just an irritated cervix, as this makes sense. Currently using a hot water bottle to ease the mild cramping and encourage af to hurry up so I can get on with the next cycle!
