Why are we all obsessed with implantation bleeding?

Lighthearted and myself included, but….
ive been pregnant 6 times (3 kids and 3 losses) and I’ve only ever experienced implantation bleeding in one pregnancy which was around 5 weeks and it was brown discharge for a couple of days
it’s also not as common as we assume but we all hope the smallest hint of blood could be implantation!
I do it myself too when I start pre period spotting but it seems it’s more likely not to happen if you are pregnant

I even do it when my period is starting to just give myself hope it might me implantation. When I know it’s not 😅

To be fair I've had it with both my second third pregnancy. But both times it was much earlier than my period would normally be so it was quite distinct from a period. And also only a really tiny amount of spotting like you say. If I was spotting around the time a period is due then I'd expect it to be the start of a period.

Anyway, best of luck to those trying at the moment, hope you don't have to wait too much longer!

It's incredibly uncommon.

But such is the nature of TTC, that is, a prolonged period TTC can compromise rationality.

I mean I've seen people post pregnancy tests at 1DPO. Just how it is I guess.
