Period ended and then bleeding two days later?! HELP!

Just as it says really. Had my period, exactly on time and heavy and painful as ever. 3 days like clockwork, finished and nothing for two days and have had bleeding today? Is this anything or just some stupid, unexplainable thing that is there to test us and keep us guessing?! FML!!

My period can be like this- it stops for a full day or two and then starts back up again. It’s really annoying but when it’s like that it can last 5-7 days in total.
It’s not stopped me being able to conceive though.

I had this last year - bleeding 4 days after my period ended. GP said it was "just one of those things" 🙄🙄🙄

Turned out to be another period, which completely reset my cycle. I've not had it again - hope yours is similarly innocuous! But do speak to your GP anyway.

Thank you both! Gotta love it when it’s “just one of those things” which is what I suspected. Bled for a few hours yesterday and now it’s stopped. If it starts again this week, I’ll speak to GP and I’ll keep an eye on my next period (as if I’d do anything else)! Sigh…

I've had this for years - a pause, just long enough for me to be fooled into thinking it's over, then back it comes for a little bit more..

No idea why, I'm just used to it by now.

Thanks @ICanSeeMyHouseFromHere ive just never had it before so was a little confused but have learnt over the last year of ttc that’s all kinds of unexplainable, random crap that happens during your cycle you just have to roll with the punches. I suppose I was just trying to figure out if it meant my period hadn’t technically finished but at this point I’m so exhausted by it all, I’ll just have a load of sex during my “fertile” window and hope for the best!

I also suffer with this happens quite a bit i was told sometimes it could be because i have a Retroverted uterus and the blood can sometimes get trapped happened this month it went all day yesterday not bleeding then today started bleeding again
