Hi all.
I have 4 children, 1 and then twins with my exh and then 1 with my husband. Ages are 9, 6 and 2. My husband is the most incredible father, came into my older children’s lives when the twins were 14 months after their dad left early doors for a fling and hasn’t had much contact since. Anyway, DH has been making noises about having another baby and I absolutely want to have another with him too only for 2 concerns.
- dc4 pregnancy and labour almost killed me. She was failing to grow, had slow leak that wasn’t picked up so had to be induced at 35 weeks and I had major bleed and rushed to theatre and they were close to doing hysterectomy. During pregnancy I had some recurrent infection that ended in sepsis at 34 weeks and I imagine the baby’s growth was related to that.
- given that I already have non identical twins (and also weirdly dh mum is an identical twin as well) I worry that we would conceive twins and then suddenly go from 4-6 kids 😬
Im mainly terrified of replicating the previous pregnancy experience but would like to hear from people who may have been there and not had as bad an experience.
