Hi ladies,

I'm looking to see if anyone has recently had a MC and is trying to conceive again? Or if you had a MC and are pregnant/got pregnant again after.

How long did it take for your period to come back after the bleeding from the miscarriage stopped? How long did it take you to conceive again? When did you start trying again? Is there anything we should be doing?

We've just had a loss at 7 weeks. It was our first time being pregnant. I know we've to wait until we get a period before trying again, but just looking to talk to people who have been through this.

Thanks ❤️

I had a miscarriage at 9/10 weeks, horrendous bleeding. Ovulated two weeks later and conceived, now 2yo, DS.

I'm sorry for your loss.
I had surgical management 3.5 weeks ago for a miscarriage at 10.5 weeks with baby measuring just under. I've only just stopped bleeding and my tests are still faintly positive. I'm waiting to ovulate now and will wait until I get my period back before trying again the cycle after that. I was told I should do this for dating purposes but also it feels like my body has been through a lot and I'm slightly anaemic from blood loss so I think waiting will give me chance to recover and get fit and healthy again.

I'm sorry for your loss Hun, I had a mmc at 14 weeks (baby died at 11) January 23. It's one of the worst emotional pains I've ever felt so I feel for you right now.

It took me around 5 weeks to stop bleeding completely (including spotting) so basically when my next period came! We tried again straight away as my doctor said it was safe to do so, after confirming no retained products with a scan and a negative pregnancy test.

It took us until July to concieve again, I'll be 35 weeks tomorrow though so don't lose hope. It's an emotional rollercoaster of a journey but I'm grateful I'll have my daughter in my arms soon x

Hi everyone.
I'm so sorry to hear of all your losses.

I gave birth to my baby boy at the end of January at 18 weeks. I felt him moving at 17 +4, had a routine midwife appt 17 +5 and his heart had stopped. I was induced at 18 weeks to give birth to baby boy sleeping. Truly harder lste experience I've ever had.

Nothing will ever replace him and I'm still struggling with it now, but would love to be pregnant again and have a healthy pregnancy. All the tests came back clear, so happened for no known reason.

My period returned 27th Feb, right on time. Will be using opks to track.

I hope everyone moves on to have happy, healthy and succesful pregnancies.
