Was it implantation or start of a CP?

Hello,

Going a bit mad I think!

Had a bit of bleeding (2 days before expected period) and just assumed I was out. It was very pale pink and nothing reached the pad, basically nothing now, not even when I wipe. I'm still getting lower back cramps though and have done for 2+ days (though only had that little bit of spotting)

Out of morbid curiosity I took a test and it looks positive to me?!?! I'm so confused!

Do we think it could've been implantation or am I likely to be having a chemical pregnancy?

Would love some reassuring stories or just some gentle reality check!

The line came up within 3 minutes and I was shocked as I am so used to seeing BFN!

That looks positive to me. To me it sounds like it’s likely implantation spotting (especially as it was light and stopped now) and the cramps you’re experiencing are also probably due to implantation, sounds very similar to me when I got my positive. Some cramping is normal during early pregnancy and even as pregnancy progresses with your body adjusting and everything stretching. Congratulations, wishing you all the best 🤞x

This was a positive and i've got my first midwife appointment next week :)
