Could I have had a chemical pregnancy without realising?

Hi!

So this month I had almost convinced myself I was pregnant. Some symptoms I had:

Nauseous (esp. when hungry)
A bit dizzy/hypoglycaemic when I hadn't eaten for a while
Super hungry after just eating
Boobs felt sore but in a different way
Peeing more
Really thirsty
Feeling rundown with sore throat/headaches
New ovary twinges
Temp stayed high past when I'd expect it to

All unusual symptoms for me.

Then all of that disappeared just as AF arrived, which was two days later than predicted.

I tested on 11dpo and it was negative. I tested again on 17dpo (day AF arrived) and it was negative. I was using easy@home strips.

On the day AF arrived I had quite heavy bleeding which isn't unusual for me, but I did have a small-medium clot which is very unusual for me. I then had some really bad cramps the following evening (again, not unusual for me).

Question: is it possible that I could have missed a positive result between 11 and 17dpo? Meaning that I had in fact been pregnant without realising, and then had a chemical? Or is that timescale far too small, and I'd have seen a positive test at either end?

💜💜

I have ewcm before my AF and ovulation so it doesn’t necessarily mean your ovulating xx

@Adamsapple89 I’m not quite sure which bit of my post you’re referring to? 🙂

It’s one of these things that you will never know, I’ve had a few heavy and late afs in the past that I’ve thought could have been but 🤷🏼‍♀️
Progesterone can fool us sometimes too though. Unless you are obsessively testing it’s possibly to miss a faint positive and then watch it fade which is soul destroying (had 2 back to back a few months ago )

It's possible, but also could be usual hormone changes. I had months where I didn't get pregnant but had bizarre symptoms! No way to know unfortunately.

Thanks @MrBigsCat and @Rosesanddaisies1!

I guess I'm probably putting it down to hormones. It's odd though as these are symptoms I've never had before. I also wondered if they could be connected to the B6 I started taking a few weeks back.

@MrBigsCat I'm really sorry to hear about your two chemicals. I hope you're doing okay 💜

You're right - if it was a CP, it was a saving grace that I didn't know about it.
