Posted recently and just looking for some reassurance.
i had sex with a friend on day two of her cycle, we used a Condom from start to finish.
Her period did not come and we have tested 10 times up to 16 days after when her period was due, and 44 days after the sexual encounter.
She is 41, and has been a star at reassuring me, but my anxiety is still very high.
She was a week late in December and had a long bleed of 10 days, instead of her normal 3. She travelled long haul in October and this can play with her cycle.
She is away travelling again now and her period is 22 days late, although she had very light spotting on Tuesday just gone.
I appreciate 10 tests is excessive, but all have been negative, and various brands, including CB digital.
So my question is, given all of the above, could she be pregnant???
Could the home tests be missing the HCG required even given the timescales???
Any kind advice would be really appreciated as I am very worried and just not ready to be a father yet.
