Is this a dodgy test or my line is very faint?

I am about 1-2 days past my expected period start date.
The top test was yesterday, the bottom one today. My line has almost disappeared :(
However the control line is considerably lighter as well, does that mean the test might be dodgy or am I clutching at straws?

Is this a dodgy test or my line is very faint?

The amount of dye in different tests can vary. They both look positive to me!
