Anyone got BFN 10dpo but BFN later?

Just wondering if I’m out this month… tested this AM and I’m about 9/10dpo

You’re not out until you get your period! There are lots of women on this forum who didn’t get their BFP until 3-4 weeks after ovulation. It all depends how quickly your body makes enough HCG

10DPO is also relatively early. Don’t be disheartened

@Limmers14 thanks.. really hoping this is my month. I know you shouldn’t symptom spot but I’ve had weird symptoms like randomly falling asleep after work (NEVER happens), waking up to pee in the night and have been mega bloated. I know it could all just be progesterone though

of course. Theres a reason the tests say wait til period is missed. It’s very unlikely to show at 10 dpo. I think it’s unhelpful on MN lots of people think it’s likely! I only got BFP at 14 dpo but I didn’t test before that

@llihl13 I understand, I really do. I’m 14DPO today and should get my period today. No sign of it. I had some light spotting last week and in the past few days have had an awfully sore throat. I hope they are symptoms but I tested yesterday and got a BFN.

We’re not out until our period arrives, we’re in it together 😊

@Limmers14 ahh keep me posted if AF comes! The spotting could’ve been implantation so I’d say you’re definitely not out yet! I’m unsure when to test next!

@llihl13 I will! @louise9422 oh wow! Were you testing from when you expected your period until when you got your BFP? And each time it was negative? Did you have any symptoms?

I completely feel you... sometimes on here is seems like it's very normal to get a positive 10 days after. I'm also 10dpo and BFN this morning. I've been testing since 7 dpo (i know that's way too early but I just caved), and it's taking a toll on staying positive. AF due wednesday/Thursday so realistically i know I'm not out but I feel sad and discouraged atm. Let's be in this together ❤️

@Ginny2018 I feel totally the same, really thought this was my month until I took the test :( but we still have a couple of days, especially if ov or implantation happened later than we think. Keep me posted xx

@Limmers14 still bfn for me this morning, 11/12 dpo ... i should say my peak was on the evening of the 13th, so I could be also 10dpo technically but I think I ovulated the 14th so that would make me 11 dpo today. I honestly still have a weird feeling i might be pregnant, but it could be first-cycle hope? I wrote on another tread the other day how i grew up with the idea that just once even half unprotected sex can lead to pregnancy so maybe that's why I'm assuming i must be pregnant when trying so hard 🤣

I will test again every morning until AF arrives (due from wednesday) but have said to myself not to early test again next cycle as it has ruined every morning for the days i tested negative (which has been 5 days in a row lol). Then towards the afternoon i get hopeful and in the evening i look forward to testing again in the morning 🤣

I’ve been pregnant 5 times and the only times I've actually been pregnant is when I’ve not tested until after my period (if that makes sense?!).

I’ve been trying for over a year now and I know not to test early, yet the last 6 months I’ve been convinced my boobs are more sensitive, I’ve felt nauseous, dizzy, so knackered, and caved a few days before my period is due to a resounding zero.

Wasn’t going to do it this month, but had all the symptoms again x10!! Think I ovulated around 13th Feb and it was a ‘not pregnant’ today. I don’t know why I keep putting myself through it.

Nothing from me yet but I also haven’t tested again. Going to wait until AF is due which is Wednesday. My mind keeps going between “I have a feeling I’m pregnant” and “I don’t feel pregnant at all” 😂 I also have PCOS so it’s more than likely not. I will update when I’ve tested, good luck to you all! I’m due Wednesday too! If for some reason I haven’t come on (I think I’ll be early as have lots of period/pregnancy symptoms), then I’ll see you for a test on Thursday morning!!

@llihl13 I tested this morning but got negative again. Still no sign of my period and haven’t had my usual cramps in the day or two leading up to it. I wonder should I try a different test? I’ve used easy@home and clear blue so far…

Resisting the temptation to test is so hard!! I only have one test left hence why I’m waiting til period day 😂

I never tested positive until 13dpo.
(I tested from 10dpo if I was due to go to Martial Arts)

@IlonaRN that’s interesting. How long were your cycles?

Anything from 31 to 50 days, but the cycles were long due to varying ovulation days (PCOS). My luteal phase was 13-15 days.

Today I’ve had stabbing pains in my ovaries and a small amount of red on the tissue when I wiped… so I think AF is almost here :( tried to hold onto hope that it might be implantation but google says it’s too late..

Hi @llihl13 ouch, yes it sounds like it might be a bit late for implantation, especially if it’s bright red.

I had a BFN this morning but still no sign of my period. I’ve had sharp tugging pains on and off today. Usually my cramps are a bit more of an ache (tried to explain the variety of stomach pain to my husband, he didn’t get it 😂).

I don’t have much hope but not sure why my cycle went from circa 30 days to 45

@Limmers14 the stabbing pains were much more intense than my usual period pains! Happened for a bit yesterday but gone now and no sign of period yet. Will test tomorrow if nothing comes today but not feeling hopeful.

what DPO are you now? We’re not out til AF!!

I got my BFP 5 days after AF was due. I'd tested negative before, despite knowing I'd ovulated by day 12 of a 31 day cycle

@llihl13 I’m CD46, what about you? My husband and I followed SMEP, I tracked ovulation. I feel like we did everything we could this cycle so I will be disappointed. This is our 4th cycle of hitting ovulation and really going for it.

@Matildahoney that’s interesting! Was it a very clear BFP or a light one? Sometimes being on this forum you can think every woman will get a clear positive at 14DPO or even before that but it’s not really the case. There are so many variations.
