Can you miss a period entirely

Hi

I'm 6 days late for AF. I've tested for the past 7 days all negative. Is it possible to miss your period entirely. Should I start OPKs again now?

It is possible. It’s happened probably 3 or 4 times to me (in 30+ years) and I was always regular as clockwork usually.

Yep. Happens to me in times of great stress or if I’m losing weight.

I had this happen to me recently.
I'm 33 and had never missed a period in my life.

I started to panic when I was around a week late. I knew I wasn't pregnant though but took a million tests because I couldn't understand where my period had gone!

I came on my period a month later. Googled it and found out it's not uncommon.

Yes, it can certainly happen. I am 42 and have irregular cycles. We started ttc in the new-year which is when I had my last af. I am now CD 54 and have been using both opks and hpts since CD26. I've only just got my peak on my opks so it will be an extremely long cycle for me.

I think as long as you still ovulate and tour leutal phase is still 10-14 days, the length of cycle is not important x x

Yes it can happen that you miss one entirely, but you might also just be really late.

Since my early 30's, my cycles are anything from 25-37 days.

Previously it had been a regular 28/29 every month.

It's a bit disconcerting but it's quite normal especially if you're moving towards/ already into your 30's.
