Baby aspirin after MMC side effects

I had an MMC at the end of Jan. We started TTC immediately once the bleeding stopped. I have started taking 75mg coated aspirin as part of my prenatals (was actually recommended before to me due to sticky blood after Long Covid).

I had been getting excited the past few days as I had a bit of reflux and bloating which was my first sign with my first and last pregnancy. However I have just realised that it's probably just side effects from the aspirin.

No real point to my post. It's too early to test as I think I am only 7 DPO. I just feel disappointed even though it would be very unlikely that I would have conceived again straight away. I haven't even had a period.

I just can't help myself clinging onto hope

Orlahoping, so sorry to hear about your MMC. I had one in the Autumn so I know how awful this is. Regarding the aspirin, a couple of things to mention here. The reflux and bloating is highly likely to be a side effect from the aspirin. You should take it in the evening after a meal. Take it with about half a pint of warm water and then try and drink another half pint or a little more warm water. Dont lay down for about half an hour after taking it. You also might find it better not to take it every day, try every two or three days unless your doctor tells you otherwise. The effect of aspirin is cumulative and the life of a platelet is 10 days so every other day should be enough unless prescribed otherwise.

@Objectiontime really useful advice, thank you! I had read about not doing it every day so think I will move to every other day. Thank you for the warm water tips.

So sorry you have been through MMC too x
