Please tell me about SMEP in the most simple way

Currently trying for #2 and haven't had much luck. We're thinking about trying different methods but my head is completely scrambled 😅 Could someone pretty please explain SMEP in the most simple way possible?

basically it’s sex every other day from day 8 of your cycle, then three days in a row when you get your LH peak. Skip a day and do one more day for luck!
