Hello everyone,

Having a low day and anxious about my very light periods.

Does anyone have any success stories they can share?

Thanks so much in advance.

My periods became very light (like, 2 days of spotting, then 2 days of light flow, I use a menstrual cup and think I was getting about 12ml in total) after a MMC last year (for which I had two surgeries). My GP wasn’t worried and thought it was probably just that the D&C got rid of all built up lining - a bit like endo surgery might - but did some hormone tests which were fine. Currently 13 weeks pregnant and crossing fingers! Good luck to you OP, such a stressful time.

I also get light periods, 4days max and practically could just keep one pad on whole day it's so light

I raised this with my gp and requested for a scan to see the thickness of lining, he said light periods generally aren't problematic for fertility, unless history of MC.

Thank you so much for your responses

Huge congratulations @Oxalis00 really pleased for you and makes me feel so much more reassured to hear that.

@JS5 this is what I'm convinced I have, did they agree to do the scan for you in the end? I've heard the same, as long as they're regular then fine if light etc., but still doesn't feel right does it...

I was similar to pp, after a mmc and erpc (like a d&c) my periods became very very light. I was a bit concerned. I conceived on the third cycle and now have a 10 month old ds. I used opk and bbt to make sure I was ovulating and to have a good chance of trying to conceive each cycle.

That's great and congratulations to you too @Blue2020, so sorry to hear about the tough times you've had before this though
