Thought I’d make a new thread for those of us Ttc in March 2024. I know some of us will cross over from end of Feb to March! Wishing everyone all the luck ✨❤️

It does feel like forever! I'm due on the 10th (mother's day) ironically. March is always a rough month for me with it being the anniversary of my own mums death. so if it's a negative I'll probably just hide away. I'm going to and wait to test but I know as soon as I hit 10dpo I'll probably end up testing. I've never got a positive before 10dpo so I've learnt not to torture myself by testing before that. X

Just finished my period and this will be my first month off the pill TTC. Hope all goes well for everyone else on this thread

The ovulation calculator is throwing me completely, I've looked at Samsung health apparently it starts 22nd March??

I've been on Femodene which is 3 weeks on and 1 week off, not a clue what my usual cycle is as it's been pill controlled until then. Flummoxed!

Who knew you could get fertility friendly lube either!

heck, that is quite a way off, maybe take that with a pinch of salt that predicted ovulation time!
are you using any ovulation tests this month or just going for it?

@PlumpHobbit I would suggest starting opks to see when you ovulate.

@emmatcc1 @Chaz693 I'm the exact same with the sickness , it didn't let up properly untill 17 weeks, but I know what you mean it got a bit better after 12. Fingers crossed we manage to escape it! But also desperate to be pregnant again, can't win ha!

Morning all, hope you're all well. My app has predicted today as my ovulation day since period arrived. I've had some lovely consistent high readings (nice to see as last month was a bit all over the place) however this mornings test is still high and I don't have a peak yet. Do you think ovulation will still happen today or would it be tomorrow?

Good news, I got my peak. Bad news, it’s 3 days later than normal (I was super stressed with work last week so maybe that’s why) — so does this mean the last 3 days of dtd have been completely pointless?

I was working on the assumption that I peaked 3 days ago, so using SMEP, we’ve just dtd 3 days in a row. I’m not sure I can cope with another 3 days in a row 😫 any tips? (Sorry if this is TMI my other half is on the larger size so it hurts if we do it too much) x

@LK2610 sperm can live inside you for up to 5 days so that may still be enough!

@LK2610 take a break today and try again tomorrow! You will still be in with a good chance x

@CadoAvo I would assume tomorrow? I don’t use those types of tests though so I find them a bit alien to read / understand!

@LK2610 not pointless at all! sperm can live up to 5 days and day before is apparently more important. If you can’t hack it, I would have a days break and DTD tomorrow. The third day is generally just to cover all bases incase the egg releases after 48 hours which can happen.

I’m now in the TWW. Will find out a week before my 35th birthday, feeling the pressure…

@Dogscanlookup fingers crossed for you - I just passed that 35 age mark! Felt a bit of pressure (although that was as much caused by my 2 due dates that weren't also being in the same fortnight as my birthday). Just remember that there's not a sudden drop off a cliff when you hit 35 in terms of Fertility x

@moosey89 yeah it’s true, and everyone is different. 35 is that number just thrown at you by medics so it comes with such negative connotations! But you’re right, it doesn’t literally happen the second you blow out your candles 😂

Same boat as many of you, will be 35 in May so thinking if I don't get pregnant before then I may as well stop trying 🤪
Already looking forward to being classed as a geriatric mum 😂

@piechipsgravy @moosey89 Phew, I'm glad the last 3 days haven't been a waste then. We're going to try dtd for 2 more nights and then we'll leave it there this cycle.

Tell me about it! 1DPO here and going to try and hold out until at least day 10. I’ll be testing my pdg days 7-10 so that should give me something to keep me busy 😂

Saaaame. Thought I was ovulating today, app has now changed to tomorrow. Was hoping to be 1DPO tomorrow but will have to wait till Thursday now for that milestone 😭😂

Please can I join? Month one for me, I'm nearly 40 and trying for my second. I'm 4 DPO and AF due on 8 March and I'd forgotten what a nail biter the TWW is! It's so so slow. Not doing anything special yet except extra vitamins. Lots of luck to you all

@holdmydrinks I'm also due on the 8th. Are you an early tester or do you have the will power to hold off until missed period?

I'll be testing as soon as possible! I l've been searching what's the earliest date I can do it, I'm thinking this Sunday? How about you?

It’s a home test to check your progesterone levels on days 7-10 after ovulation. I’m only really doing it because I have a short luteal phase so want to check I’ve got enough progesterone to sustain a pregnancy if it happened.
