TTC second baby over 6 months now... anyone ?

TTC baby number two for nearly 8/9 months now. We had a chemical in October but nothing since.
7DPO and been having some symptoms but it's probably all in my head!
Would love to hear off others in a similar situation.
First baby was conceived via ivf after 18 months trying.
We won't be moving to ivf for at least another 2-3 years trying because we can't afford it.

Hi, if it's any comfort I'm in exactly the same position. Had a miscarriage in August and have been trying ever since 😢. First child was conceived very easily so starting to feel very down now.

Forgot to say I am also 7DPO today! Don't have any symptoms :(

Me too! Ttc for about 6months now, I'm age 35 and had one chemical and one early loss in the 6 months. Had a break last cycle but will be trying again after the next period, getting ready to run the gauntlet again.

It's so hard isn't it . How old is your first child?

@Elisabeth3468 coming up to 3. Getting a bit worried about the age gap now. What about yours?

@SouthwestSis sorry to hear about your losses. How did you find taking a break? I think I might need to soon as I'm getting so down but my cycle is so regular that I don't know if I could fully 'switch off' as I'll know when I'm in my fertile period and potentially ovulating :/

Same... first baby took 6 months (at 35) - was told at first scan I had a 10cm cyst and that would have made it difficult. Second time fell pregnant accidentally but turned out to be ectopic. Losing that pregnancy made us decide we didn't want to wait for another. Had tube removed + cyst, we're now on 8th cycle trying (at 38). My good ovary and remaining tube are on opposite sides which I'm sure is contributing to it taking a while.

My son turned 2 in December. The age gap just keeps on getting bigger ! Did a test today at 9dpo and negative ! So I'll just wait for my period now and try and put it to the back of my mind. We didn't cover peak day this week as my partner actually had a semen analysis booked in so had to abstain and typically I ovulated about 5 days late and his test fell right on peak day of course 🤣. I actually feel
Really nauseas and not right but boobs aren't tender or anything. But I never had sore boobs with my first.

Oh no, well you may still be in luck as 9PO is still early🤞🏼. My period is due on the weekend so I think I'll test Wednesday/Thursday. I've had a really dull ache in my stomach today, slightly crampy feeling like I'm about to start my period and I've had insanely vivid emotional dreams the last 3 nights. Other than that not really had any symptoms so I may be clutching at straws!

I'm in a similar position. I also have a DS who was 2 in December! TTC #2 for 7 months now. I've had one early loss and a MMC in that time. I'm 40 in the summer so feeling like time is not hugely on my side, but feel it's a good thing we are conceiving, just waiting for the right egg. Note sure how many of those I'll have left! 7dpo today, planning to start testing over the weekend...
