Hi all, I lost my twin sons at 29 weeks in early November. We were seven weeks off our c-section due date. After limited movement, it was discovered that one of my twins had passed and four days later I had to make the decision to take his brother of life support as he was so ill.

I got my period on January 4th about 9 days after I ovulated. I was concerned as my luteal phase isn't usually this short.

This month I've ovulated and I'm now 10dpo no sign of period but I did get cm with pink in it - 2 days ago.

Is this normal postpartum and is my cycle maybe just regulating itself. Also took a pregnancy test and it's negative.

Hey, I'm so sorry for your loss, what an awful traumatic experience for you 😓. Unfortunately it's so hard to say at the moment. People can be highly fertile after pregnancy/ miscarriage etc but it's also extremely common for your cycle to take a long time to return to usual. I don't think anyone can tell you before a positive or negative test could tell you x

Hi OP, really sorry for your loss. I also lost twin boys but a bit earlier in the pregnancy last January. My cycle took a few months to go back to normal. If your luteal phase is longer this cycle than it was the last, that is a good thing x

Hi @Girlfolk thanks so much for the reply. I'm so sorry for your loss of your boys. How are you doing this month. I'd imagine its been an emotional few weeks for you.

Thank you. I want to get pregnant again absolutely, but want my cycle to regulate more so. At least I'd know thinks were normal again.
